A Day in the Life of a Busy Mom and New Podcaster

Hey everyone! Welcome to a little glimpse into my life as a busy mom and a new podcaster. It’s a whirlwind of activities, laughter, and a sprinkle of chaos, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. So, come along with me as I navigate through a typical day!

The day starts early in our household. The girls are up and buzzing with energy, ready to tackle the day ahead. My first task? Filling up their water bottles for school. Hydration is key, especially when they’re running around during recess! Once we’ve got everything packed, it’s time for the school drop-off.

After a quick goodbye hug and a wave, I’m off to my daily Dunkin’ run. There’s something about that first sip of coffee that sets the tone for the day. “Hi everyone! How are you?” I greet the friendly barista, who knows my order by heart. “Can I please get a medium half decaf with a little bit of almond milk, two cups of butter pecan, and one glazed donut?” The butter pecan flavor is a must-have; I’m so glad they brought it back!

With my coffee in hand, I head home, ready to tackle the next part of my day.

#### The Never-Ending Chore List

Once I’m back, I take a moment to enjoy my coffee before diving into the chaos of household chores. If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a mom, it’s that the floor is never clean for long. My best bet for a tidy space is to clean while the kids are at school; otherwise, it takes them just five minutes to mess it all up again!

Today, I’m gearing up for field hockey practice later, so I make a mental note to get everything done before the girls come home.

After a quick clean-up, it’s time to switch gears and focus on my podcast. I’m still relatively new to this world, but I’m loving every minute of it. I set up my recording space, adjusting the lights and getting everything ready. “Ta-da!” I say to myself, feeling a rush of excitement.

Recording the podcast is a blend of preparation and spontaneity. I just wrapped up a session, and now it’s time to check in with my producer. I have a few notes from today’s recording that I want to discuss. It’s a great feeling to share ideas and collaborate with someone who understands the ins and outs of podcasting.

Once I’m done with the podcast, I change into my comfy clothes. It’s a small victory to be done with my outside responsibilities for the day, but the inside responsibilities are just beginning!

Laundry time! It’s a never-ending cycle, but I try to make it fun. I often involve the girls when they’re home, turning it into a game. “Who can fold the most shirts?” I ask, and they jump right in, giggling and competing.

As the day winds down, I start thinking about dinner and bedtime routines. “Hey, should we get donuts for breakfast tomorrow?” I ask the girls, and they enthusiastically agree. It’s little moments like these that make the busy days worthwhile.

As I sit down to reflect on my day, I realize how much I’ve accomplished. From school drop-offs to podcast recordings, and managing household chores, it’s a lot to juggle. But the laughter, the chaos, and the love that fills our home make it all worth it.

I’m grateful for the support of my family and friends as I navigate this new chapter of my life as a podcaster. It’s a journey filled with learning, growth, and a lot of fun.

Eagle-eyed Taylor Swift fans have spotted the sweet way Kylie Kelce is teaching her kids about the pop star.

On Monday, Dec. 16, the former field hockey player, 32, shared an Instagram video with a behind-the-scenes look at how she’s navigating life as a mother and a new career as a podcaster.

“Spend a day in the life with mom of 3 (soon-to-be 4) and new podcaster @kykelce. ✨ #DunkinPartner,” she captioned the joint post between herself, Dunkin’ and her digital series, Not Gonna Lie with Kylie Kelce.

In the video, Kelce begins her day by filling up her girls’ water bottles for school before she grabs her own beverage and snack at her local Dunkin’ shop. After receiving her order and taking selfies with the employees, the WAG heads home.

“I don’t know about everyone else, but our floor is never clean,” she says while picking up toys and tossing them into a bucket to tidy up.

As Kylie cleaned up, one of the items she grabbed was a copy of Taylor Swift: A Little Golden Book Biography.

Though the children’s book was only visible for a few seconds, fans flocked to the comment section to point it out.

Others commended Kylie for being so relatable. “The mess on the floor is so real lol,” one fan wrote.

While Kelce is married to the retired Philadelphia Eagles center, 37, the Grammy winner is dating his younger brother, Travis Kelce. The duo recently celebrated their first anniversary after going public with their relationship in October 2023.

Last month, the group got together to celebrate the holidays with one another.

“Taylor and Travis had a great Thanksgiving together with their families. It’s the first they’ve celebrated together,” a source told PEOPLE earlier this month. “Jason was there with his family and kids too. It was very festive and special.”

Kelce continued with her “a day in the life” content, showing fans as she recorded her podcast — which recently hit No. 1 on Spotify and Apple’s podcast charts, knocking The Joe Rogan Experience out of the top spot.

After a few other household tasks, including doing the laundry and putting two of her three kids to bed, Kelce asked her one awake daughter if they should start the next day with donuts.

“Yeah, sure,” the toddler nonchalantly replied. “Sure.”
