Michael Jordan will be mad at Steve Kerr after his comment about the Olympics MVP LeBron James

For those that forgot… Steve Kerr and the Warrios have won three of four NBA Finals over Lebron James

The Paris Olympics became the stage for an unforgettable moment in sports history as LeBron JamesKevin Durant, and Stephen Curry played together on the same team for the first, and likely last, time.

These three NBA legends, whose impact on the game is immeasurable, led the USA Basketball Team to a triumphant gold medal victory, defeating France 98-87.

The trio’s performance was nothing short of extraordinary, particularly in the decisive fourth quarters of both the semifinals and finals. Facing a deficit, they demonstrated their prowess and resilience, ultimately securing the win and reinforcing their status as a “Dream Team 2.0.” or as LeBron said “The Avengers”

Steve Kerr’s Tribute to LeBron

Golden State Warriors’ head coach, Steve Kerr, added another Olympic gold medal to his resume, having previously served as an assistant coach during the Tokyo 2020 games.

While Kerr had the opportunity to coach Kevin Durant and Stephen Curry to back-to-back NBA championships, this marked his first time coaching LeBron James. Following the gold medal win, Kerr openly expressed his admiration for James, stating, “What a blessing to coach him, finally, after all these years of coaching against him and trying to figure out how to beat him.”

Kerr’s praise for LeBron might come as a surprise to those familiar with his history, particularly his former Chicago Bulls teammate, Michael Jordan. The long-standing debate over who deserves the title of the NBA’s Greatest of All Time (GOAT) adds an intriguing layer to Kerr’s comments.

While Kerr spent six years alongside Jordan, never publicly declaring himself a “Jordan fan for life,” just six weeks with LeBron on the U.S. Team led him to make such a statement about James. Considering Jordan’s competitive nature, famously showcased in “The Last Dance,” one might wonder if he had anything to say when congratulating Kerr on the victory, especially in light of Kerr’s newfound admiration for LeBron.
