In celebration of the watch company’s motto of #BornToDare, Gaga and Beckham met for the first time in Los Angeles.

Sure, Lady Gaga and David Beckham might be an unlikely alliance, but there is no doubt that the two are some of the most successful and daring people out there.

That’s the idea behind the duo becoming brand ambassadors for the Swiss fine watch brand Tudor. In celebration of the watch company’s motto of #BornToDare, Gaga and Beckham met for the first time in Los Angeles, decked in Tudor pieces, to get to know each other over a game of cards.

“I always like to let creativity come my way in the form of inspiration,” Gaga told the soccer star when asked what’s next for her. “I find that it comes to me like a whisper of passion. What’s next for me? I don’t quite know yet but I guess what I am sure of is there will be a burst of inspiration and when it comes, I will grab it.”

When discussing their most daring moments, Beckham jokes, “Whenever anyone turned to me and said not to do something, I’m doing it.” Gaga agreed: “Oh, I’m doing it!”

“The most daring moments have been when I did not give up. When there is something in me that’s going, ‘You don’t have it in you. You can’t do it. You’re done.’ Lots of self doubt,” the songstress added. “And having that other voice of ‘You got this’ be stronger than all the others and you’ve just got to use it and shout it and be louder than everything else.”
