Jason Kelce‘s wife Kylie Kelce opted not to be in the suite for the “Monday Night Football” game between the Philadelphia Eagles and her brother-in-law Travis Kelce’s Kansas City Chiefs.
Before the game, Kylie stated her preference for being in the stands, enjoying the game with fellow fans, even in an opposing team’s stadium.
Kylie Kelce on why she stays away from Taylor Swift and Brittany Mahomes
“I will be in the stands, I’m a stands girl,” Kylie told Spectrum News in Kansas City.
“I love sitting in the stands, cheering with the fans, even if it’s in an opposing team stadium.
“It’s not particularly my cup of tea to be in the spotlight or in front of the camera. I was a communication major in college, I love to be behind it. That’s my bread and butter.
“But at the end of the day, if it creates opportunities like this and I can leverage my network and figure out how to impact a community that has been so, so kind to the Kelce family, I am so happy to give back to Kansas City in any way.
“I am just hoping we have enough people in the stadium to say, ‘Go Birds’ to get my husband’s first win against the Chiefs. He’s 13 years in, we’re due I think.”
It has to be noted that the Eagles secured a huge 21-17 win over the Chiefs away from home on Monday.
Staying in the spotlight
The spotlight on the Kelce family has intensified since Travis started dating Taylor Swift in September. Swift has frequently been seen in the suites during Chiefs games, accompanied by Kelce’s family and Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.

Despite the anticipation surrounding the ‘Kelce Bowl’, Swift’s attendance was hindered by a concert postponement in Brazil due to a heat wave.
Notably, the Chiefs emerged victorious in last year’s Super Bowl, with Kylie becoming a storyline as she was 38 weeks pregnant during the game, eventually giving birth to her and Jason’s third child, Bennett Llewellyn, two weeks later.
