Kourtney Kardashian Breaks Down in Tears as Penelope Disick Finishes 6th Grade

Kourtney Kardashian celebrated her and Scott Disick’s daughter Penelope Disick finishing sixth grade in an emotional Instagram post.

Kourtney Kardashian’s vibe right now is losing it over Penelope Disick’s latest milestone.

After her and Scott Disick’s 12-year-old finished sixth grade, the Kardashians star shared an emotional post on social media to commemorate the occasion.

“Me crying bc my baby girl is done with sixth grade,” Kourtney wrote in a June 3 Instagram Story, alongside a photo of her with her face in her hands, joking that her middle schooler wasn’t nearly as touched, adding with a laughing emoji, “She’s taking pics of me.”

And while she was clearly happy for her tween, Kourtney recently expressed a different sentiment about her kids attending school altogether. Last month, she told sister Khloe Kardashian on an episode of her podcast that her kids will send her videos of adults who were successful without it.

“So, then I’ll start thinking, okay what’s the goal here?” Kourtney—who also shares kids Mason, 15, and Reign, 10, with Scott, as well as baby Rocky with husband Travis Barker—admitted. “Want to do home school? Let’s do it.”

As the Poosh founder put it, “I’ll think, ‘Why do kids f–king go to school?’ Truly, it’s so dated.”

However, Kourtney has always celebrated her kids’ successes. Last year, she even commemorated the last day of school by ordering a Raising Canes food truck and a mechanical bull to kick off summer vacation.

“School is out!!” she wrote in an Instagram Story at the time. “Hello Summer!”

Plus, when it comes to her kids, Kourtney—who is also stepmom to Travis’ kids Atiana De La Hoya, 26, Landon Barker, 21, and Alabama Barker, 19—will take any chance to soak in the moments of them growing up.

“I actually think my favorite part is that you relive your own childhood,” she told Harper’s Bazaar in 2015 of raising her kids. “Going to Disneyland and watching all the movies I watched when I was a kid. I have so many of the books we read when we were little—so reading all the same books again. It’s really fun—you almost get to be a kid again and do all those magical things.”
