Ken Jennings Makes Rare Joke About Wife in Backstage ‘Jeopardy!’ Photo
The clue: This Jeopardy! host may or may not have landed himself in hot water with his wife after showing her photos in his dressing room — none of which were her or their family. The question: Who is Ken Jennings?
The iconic Jeopardy! host and legendary former contestant has been married to wife Mindy Jennings since 2020. Together, they have two kids: daughter Caitlin, 18, and son Dylan, 20.
Despite his own strong family unit, even Ken had to eat crow when Mindy came into her husband’s Jeopardy! dressing room on Thursday, May 1.
Ken recalled their conversation in the caption of one of his most recent Instagram posts — as well as revealing the non-family photo that’s actually on the wall.
Here’s what went down, according to the ABC personality. Their exchange is as follows:
“HER: I’m going to bring you a framed family photo. Why don’t you have any personal pictures hanging in here?”
ME: What do you mean, I have this photo of the Clue Crew.”
“HER: That’s exactly what I mean.”
To be fair, Jennings’ “Clue Crew” has always treated each other like family. The team was made up of executive producer Sarah Whitcomb-Foss, Kelly Miyahara, and Jimmy McGuire, who delivered Jeopardy! clues all around in the world for more than 20 seasons, per TV Insider.
Whitcomb-Foss, for her part, responded to Ken’s Instagram by quipping, “I don’t see any problem here. 😂.”
McGuire also pointed out the family aspect within their Clue Crew. “In the words of Sister Sledge….and [the Pittsburgh Pirates] theme song in 1979….We are Fam-a-lee! 🖤💛.”
