Karoline Leavitt has revealed that despite the unconventional 32-year age gap between her and her husband, the relationship is a perfect match for them.

Nicholas Riccio, who at 59 is married to the 27 year old White House Press Secretary, shares a young son with her, one year old Nicholas Robert Riccio. They were introduced at an event by a common friend and hit it off immediately.

Of their unique bond, Karoline beamed: “I mean it’s a very atypical love story but he’s incredible,” sharing insights into their life together. “He’s the father of my child and he’s the best dad I could ever ask for. And he is so supportive, especially during a very chaotic period of life.”

Even joking about their dynamic, Karoline admits telling him: “I walked into your life and it’s been a circus ever since.”

Yet, she acknowledges how fortunate she is, noting that he’s completely on board with their life together, reports The Mirror.

While speaking on The Megyn Kelly Show, she couldn’t help but express her affectionate view of her spouse: “He is my greatest supporter, he’s my best friend and he’s my rock. He’s built a very successful business himself so now he’s fully supportive of me building my success in my career.”

Karoline also shared the origins of their romance, noting a connection from the outset. “A mutual friend of ours hosted an event at a restaurant that he owns up in New Hampshire and invited my husband. I was speaking,” she recounted.

The love story unfolded from there, she said, starting from friendship. “We met and we were acquainted as friends. And then we fell in love.”

Much to the delight of her followers, Karoline recently posted previously unseen photos from their wedding day.

The Instagram post showed Karoline in her sparkling white gown, hand in hand with her husband. The couple was surrounded by guests clad in black.

Karoline shared the moment with the caption: “Finally found some time to post a few of my favorite pictures from one of my favorite days!” Her followers quickly filled the comments section with congratulatory messages.
