Jeopardy! viewers are left in uproar as show is pulled off air just MINUTES before the final for special broadcast about Trump’s VP pick: Furious critics slam ABC over ‘loser behavior’

Jeopardy! viewers were left fuming after Monday night’s episode was pulled off air just minutes before the final in favor if a special report on Donald Trump’s appearance at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.

ABC dramatically interrupted the gameshow to cover the former president’s first public appearance since an assassination attempt on Saturday evening, meaning fans were unable to see contestants Brenna Sniatecki, James Hayakawa, and Isaac Hirsch go head-to-head in Final Jeopardy.

The move prompted uproar, with viewers launching a barrage of expletive-laden complaints at the broadcaster on social media.

Some were so angry, they accused the broadcaster of being an example of ‘far left media mob mentality.’

On X, one wrote: ‘ABC News! We care more about Jeopardy than what you think about Trump and Vance!

Another posted: ‘Nothing worse than flipping the channel to ABC to watch @jeopardy but seeing this clown and his cult members instead.’

A third said: ‘ABC pre-empting Jeopardy for the Republican National Convention is loser behavior.’

A fourth tweeted: ‘F**k ABC for delaying Jeopardy to show the convention. Every other news station is showing it you don’t need also, a**holes.’

A fifth said: ‘ABC News! You are just another example of the far left media mob mentality which has become rampant throughout this country! So to whoever decided to pull the plug on jeopardy with five minutes to play go f**k yourselves!’

‘Did these suckers @ABC news interrupt Jeopardy to announce Trump’s running mate?’ asked another. ‘First, I heard that on Twitter 30 minutes ago, and second, that does NOT warrant a special report.’

The outrage also spilled over on Reddit, where one fan fumed: ‘Interrupting my Jeopardy! He just lost my vote (not that he had it to begin with.’

ABC news anchor David Muir helmed the network’s special report.

He announced: ‘Tonight from the Republican Convention, breaking news.

‘Our interview with former president Trump on the assassination attempt. Trump on the images of the bullets coming so close. The former president on his phone call with President Biden.

‘Trump telling us about the speech he’ll now give here at the convention. He says he threw the other speech out.’

Trump was greeted with chants of ‘fight, fight, fight,’ as he strode into the Republican convention on Monday barely two days after surviving an assassination attempt.

The former president wore a bandage on his right ear where the bullet, fired by Thomas Matthew Crooks, ripped through his skin.
