For some cities, a rerun aired, as they introduced Adriana Harmeyer as a nine-time winner when she was going for her 15th.
Reddit users discussed the June 18 episode on the platform.
While most commenters in the thread focused on how impressive Adriana Harmeyer’s gameplay was, others lamented that they didn’t even get to see the Jeopardy! episode on Tuesday.
Fans posted on Reddit about how it wasn’t airing near them.

“This episode didn’t air in the Tulsa market today. The one airing today is Adriana’s tenth win. Anyone know why?” one fan said.
“Same in Baltimore,” a fan replied. “Can try the DC viewing at 7:30. Hopefully, it’s new.”
“Same here in Nashville. Not the first time this has happened here,” said another.
“Same in South Florida. They keep showing Panthers pre-game stuff,” one last fan said.
NO HARM, NO FOUL
Adriana nabbed her 15th win on Tuesday, even though many people did not see it.
Host Ken Jennings made fun of her behavior in the last round.

She won the game once again in the Final Jeopardy! round, which was a nail-biter.
Ken, 50, first praised Adriana’s “phenomenal” strength during the round, since she got 12 out of the 14 rounds.
In the Jeopardy! round, she beat out her opponents with $6,800, Mark Gagliardi had $2,800 after a $2200 true Daily Double miss, and Colleen Matthews ended with $3,400.
During the final round, Ken singled Adriana out with a surprising remark.
Jeopardy! Host Timeline
Jeopardy! has had a tumultuous history regarding hosts after the death of the iconic Alex Trebek in 2020. Here are all of the hosts since the game show’s inception in 1964.
Art Fleming, 1964 to 1975. He was the original host of the daytime version of Jeopardy! on NBC.
Alex Trebek – 1984 to 2020. The late, great Alex hosted Jeopardy!’s modern iteration for 36 years until his death from pancreatic cancer.
Guest hosts – 2020 to 2021. Jeopardy! tested out a series of guest hosts for week or two-week stints, including Anderson Cooper, LaVar Burton, and Aaron Rodgers.
Mike Richards – 2021. He was named host for one week before resigning amid controversy. He was the show’s executive producer at the time.
Mayim Bialik – 2021 to 2023. When Mike was announced as the show’s new host, Mayim was chosen to host tournaments and primetime specials.
Mayim and Ken Jennings – 2022 to 2023. Seventy-four-time champion Ken (the longest-winning contestant ever) joined Mayim as a guest host and they split hosting duties.
Ken Jennings – 2023 to present. Last December, Mayim announced on Instagram that she would “no longer” host Jeopardy! after a lengthy hiatus, having stood with the writer’s strike, and Ken was named sole host.
Ken now helms all editions of Jeopardy! including Celebrity Jeopardy!, the nightly show, and other primetime specials like Masters.
Ken said that she looked unsure and didn’t write anything down until the end of the 30 seconds.
“Adriana has been lights out on Final Jeopardy, but she looked at this one for a long, long time,” he said.
However, Adriana revealed that she did come up with an answer, which was “Beirut.”
“At the last second, she did!” Ken chimed in, which made the audience gasp.
“She just keeps going!” he said as she won and raised her 15-day total to $349,600.
SLAY-DRIANA
Adriana first appeared on the May 31 episode.
She had won nearly every June episode, making her Season 40’s first super-champion.
It’s been two years since there has been a 10-plus day winner, the previous being 13-day champ Ray LaLonde.
Adriana has now beat Ray and has the longest streak since 21-day champ Cris Pannullo in fall 2022.
She is a clinical assistant professor and archivist of University History in Purdue University’s Archives and Special Collections.

Adriana has been married to her husband Neal, whom she bonded with in 2013 over a love of learning.
They share a son together and Neal has been in the audience cheering her on.
