Jeopardy! contestant Scott Riccardi has done it again, and fans are impressed.
The engineer from Somerville, New Jersey, is now a 15-day champion after winning Wednesday’s game of the ABC trivia game show. In the episode that aired on July 23, the returning champ faced off against Gerri Budd, an adjunct professor and small business owner from Nutley, New Jersey and Andrew Crowley, a freelance writer from Henderson, Nevada.
Scott had the lead throughout the game and he also got the two Daily Doubles during Double Jeopardy. The scores before Final Jeopardy were $32,200 for Scott while Andrew had $9,400 and Gerri with $3,200.

The Final Jeopardy category was “Famous Buildings.” The clue was: “Opened in 1902, it’s 87 feet in width on the 22nd Street side & less than 7 feet wide at its narrowest point on 23rd Street.”

The correct answer for that clue was the Flatiron Building in New York City. Gerri got the answer right and wagered $3,100, upping her final score to $6,300. Andrew answered incorrectly with the Tribeca Building, dropping him to $9,000 after his $400 wager. Scott also answered correctly, ending with an amount of $40,008 after his $7,808 wager. Scott cinched the win and had a 15-day total of $430,910.

Jeopardy! fans online were excited once more for the 25-year-old’s continued winning streak. On the Jeopardy! subreddit for today’s episode (July 23), one fan said: “Another runaway for Scott! Was pleased to get the FJ clue.”
A second fan said, in part: “But anyway uhhhh my goodness Scott is on a hell of a run.” On X formerly Twitter, a fan said: “It’s gonna be a while before I’m tired of Scott winning on #jeopardy. Bravo!”
Scott has broken records with his winning streak. The game show hadn’t seen a 15-day win this year since Adriana Harmeyer, who had a 15-day winning streak. She ended her run with a total of $351,600.

He has won the most games this season of Jeopardy!, which is season 41. Lauren Faddah follows behind him with a eight-game streak that concluded in March. According to TV Insider, Scott is the first contestant to win more than $50,000 in an episode since Ben Chan in 2023.

On July 17’s episode of Jeopardy!, host Ken Jennings noted that Scott’s 10-day total made him the first player to garner official “double-digit Super Champion status” since Season 40. In today’s episode, before Scott went on to secure his 15th win said, “It’s one that only 10 other champions in the show’s history have reached,” he said. “So, big stakes for Scott today.”
