When Jenna Bush Hager did a photoshoot to celebrate a major social media milestone on the Today show, she probably didn’t expect it would come back to haunt her.
Back in 2022, the TV host celebrated her then-fourth hour show Today With Hoda and Jenna reaching 1 million followers on Instagram. In honor of the occasion, she and Hoda Kotb posed for an on-air photoshoot that involved Jenna wearing glasses and smizing for the camera. Hoda also held a blow dryer up to provide wind for Jenna’s hair, making her look like a fashion model. When the pictures were later released online, folks couldn’t get enough of how great she looked in them.
Well, almost three years later, Jenna’s big moment was a clue on an episode of Pop Culture Jeopardy!. Per People on January 14, she was featured in the “thirst traps” category, with the clue reading, “With the help of Hoda Kotb and a hairdryer, this ‘Today Show’ book guru posted a thirst trap to celebrate 1 million followers.” When Jenna later learned that this was how she was name dropped on the newest series in the Jeopardy! franchise, she had some hilarious thoughts about it.

“All I have to say is I’ve never made my parents more proud,” she joked on the air. “That’s the Jeopardy! clue I get? Jeeze!”
“YES!” Keke exclaimed to Jenna in a clip posted on Instagram. “Yes, girl! Oh my gosh, yes honey! It’s lit. Girl, I didn’t know you could get down like that!”
Needless to say, we loved seeing Jenna on Jeopardy!. And let’s not forget — this isn’t the only time she’s been featured on the quiz show franchise.
Back in July 2023, her Read With Jenna book club was a featured category on an episode of Jeopardy!. The moment spotlighted Jenna’s love of reading as she appeared in a series of pre-taped clues for contestants to answer.
Crossing our fingers to get Jenna back on Jeopardy! very soon!
