Super Bowl 2024: Jason Kelce says it was ‘overwhelming’ to share suite with Taylor Swift as it opened his eyes to the attention she ‘has to deal with’… but her Chiefs beau Travis insists the popstar ‘thrives in those situations’
Jason Kelce admitted sharing a Super Bowl suite with Taylor Swift was overwhelming as he had his eyes opened to the level of attention the songstress attracts.
The Philadelphia Eagles star sat alongside the pop superstar in a luxury box at Allegiant Stadium that his brother Travis Kelce splashed out a reported $1million for to ensure his family, his girlfriend and her parents and friends could watch the Kansas City Chiefs 25-22 victory over the San Francisco 49ers Sunday.
But the center admitted that the singer attracted just as much attention as the big game as even other celebrities were desperate to meet her in star-studded Vegas.
‘Turns out everyone wants to meet Taylor,’ Jason said on the Kelce brothers’ New Heights podcast Wednesday. ‘Shaq came in the suite.
‘I think it was my first understanding of some of the things that she has to deal with. Because there’s a lot of star-studded people there and it’s like, “dude, everyone wants to come see her but the suite’s only so big.” It was overwhelming to be honest with you.

The songstress celebrates boyfriend Travis Kelce’s third Super Bowl win on the field
‘I was going outside the suite, I was talking to Keegan-Michael Key and his wife and a bunch of people. The celebrity attendance at the game was pretty unreal.’
While Jason was left overwhelmed, Travis, who has found himself in his fair share of the spotlight since his relationship with the Anti-Hero hitmaker went public, insisted that his songstress girlfriend was used to the furor at this stage of her successful career.
‘Taylor thrives in those situations,’ the tight end said. ‘She’s been in them countless times in her life.’
NBA legend Shaquille O’Neal had been desperate to meet Taylor at the game and following the Super Bowl revealed his wish had finally come true.
The basketball Hall-of-Famer posted a pic from the Super Bowl showing off the moment he was able to meet the pop superstar for the first time.
Shaq was seen alongside Authentic Brands Group CEO Jamie Salter and the ‘Cruel Summer’ singer.
‘Finally met @taylorswift,’ the post was captioned. ‘me and @jamiejsalter gifted her a NFL Judith Lieber bag.’
That bag is a purse in the shape of a football that is covered in crystals and retails for $4,000.
Earlier in the year, Swift received another Judith Lieber gift – a bag in the shape of a microphone given to her by Chiefs heiresses Gracie and Ava Hunt.

Kelce, celebrating brother Travis’ victory, was seen going wild in a Mexican wrestling mask
While Jason may not have been a huge fan of the extra attention during the Chiefs’ victory, he certainly enjoyed the afterparty.
As Travis, Taylor and the team partied the night away at a Vegas nightclub, Jason was also spotted dancing hilariously behind the DJ booth while wearing a Mexican wrestling mask.
In one video circulating on social media, the 36-year-old appears very worse for wear while dancing along at the afterparty as Super Bowl weekend in Vegas looks to have taken its toll.
Jason, who is still weighing up whether to continue his NFL career after the Eagles’ playoff exit last month, can be seen going wild as American DJ Marshmello gets the party going.
He was later seen stumbling out of the afterparty and heading back to his hotel after a night of partying with his brother, Swift and the Chiefs.
