While retired Philadelphia Eagles star Jason Kelce and his wife, Kylie Kelce, eagerly await the birth of their fourth child, the family is grappling with heartbreaking news.

On March 22, Kylie announced the passing of their beloved dog, Baloo, a day before her 33rd birthday. This devastating loss comes just one year after the Kelces’ Irish Wolfhound, Winnie, died in March 2024.

Kylie, who hosts the “Not Gonna Lie With Kylie Kelce” podcast, shared her grief on social media, posting a series of touching photos of Baloo playing with their daughters Wyatt (5), Ellie (4), and Bennett (2). Her words reflected the deep bond the family shared with their furry friend:

“When I told the girls that Baloo was going to leave us, Ellie asked where he was going. I told her that he was going to heaven and without skipping a beat she replied, ‘Oh! He’ll get to be with Winnie again! They’ll be so happy to see each other!'”

A Loyal and Loving Companion

Kylie went on to describe Baloo as the “goofiest, sweetest, most lovable, and tolerant dog I’ve ever met.” She added, “He wanted nothing more than carbs and pets. He was a simple guy, held together by bubble gum and paper clips.

The heartbreak is immense, but as Ellie so perfectly pointed out, the Winnie-Bubba reunion had to be pure magic. Miss you already Bubbies.”

The emotional post drew reactions from several family members. Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs tight end and Jason’s brother, responded with a series of crying emojis. Their mother, Donna Kelce, commented, “My heart goes out to you!!!!”

While mourning the loss of Baloo, Travis Kelce has been spending his offseason enjoying quality time with his close friends and girlfriend, Taylor Swift.

He was recently seen golfing with teammate Patrick Mahomes at Pinehurst in North Carolina. The couple was also spotted hanging out in Big Sky, Montana, and previously in Park City, Utah, before spending a weekend together in New York City.
