Fresh off his historic The Voice Season 26 win, Sofronio Vasquez is still coming to terms with his whirlwind journey—and his excitement reached new heights during a virtual interview when he came face-to-face with The Voice alum and global superstar Kelly Clarkson.
“Oh my gosh… is this real?!” Sofronio exclaimed, visibly starstruck as Clarkson appeared on the screen. The Filipino singer, who made history as the first Filipino winner of the show, was all smiles as he gushed about what it means to represent his heritage on such a massive platform. “I’m just so proud to bring this win home. It’s for everyone who believed in me and for all the dreamers out there.”
