Britney Spears hints at MAJOR career change… and there’s a Kim Kardashian connection

Britney Spears could possibly be following in Kim Kardashian’s footsteps as she hinted at a major career change over the weekend.

The Baby One More Time songstress, 43 – who recently made a bold move after her ex Sam Asghari flaunted his new girlfriend – jumped to Instagram on Saturday to share a since-deleted video while showcasing her dance skills.

And in the caption, the star had penned: ‘Law school, new computer… so dress the part.’

In the reel, Spears donned a short plaid miniskirt that contained a hem which stopped inches above her knees.

The star additionally wore a red bikini top and cropped white blouse as she performed choreography for the camera.

Britney completed the ensemble by slipping into black-heeled boots and allowed her blonde locks to flow down naturally past her shoulders.

The Kardashians star has been working towards her dream of being a lawyer since 2018.

And this year in March, the reality star took a big step towards achieving that goal when she took a ‘pivotal test that’s required to practice law,’ TMZ reported at the time.

Kim took the MPRE (Multistate Professional Responsibility Examination) in Alhambra, California – and had to take the exam in person.

The test focuses on questions centered around both legal ethics and professional conduct. The exam also allows individuals to qualify to take the bar.

Back in 2021, the SKIMS founder passed her ‘baby bar exam’ and has plans to take the bar next year in 2026.

Kim’s late father Robert Kardashian was also a lawyer and previously worked on O.J. Simpson’s case.

Earlier this week, Britney uploaded a similar dancing video and made suggestive moves as she seemingly responded to her ex Sam Asghari flaunting his new romance with Brooke Irvine.

The former couple were formerly married from 2022 until their divorce was finalized last year – and declared legally single in December 2024.

This week on Friday, Sam and Brooke were spotted together as they exited Erewhon after purchasing a few items at the high-end supermarket.

Britney’s latest post comes just weeks after Asghari seemingly took a swipe at his relationship with the Toxic singer. 

The actor appeared to label their past relationship as ‘Hollywood’ during an interview with Us Weekly at the grand opening weekend of The Tryst Hotel in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.

In regards to his budding romance with the real estate agent, Sam expressed: ‘It’s all about love. That’s what it is. It’s not about the industry, it’s not about Hollywood.

‘It’s about what really is the most important thing, and that’s being present, being in the moment and supporting others that are doing this same thing.’

And as he made his red carpet debut with Irvine, he told the outlet, ‘It wasn’t, “Now is the time,” or whatever, but we’re here to support a great cause.

‘Love is not about gender, not about race, not about anything,’ the model further added.

‘Love doesn’t understand any of those things, so that’s why I’m always going to be an ally of this [LGBTQ+] community – because they help me believe that and understand that. That’s what’s really great about this community.’

Back in January, Britney’s feelings towards Sam’s new relationship were revealed not long after he went Instagram official with Brooke.

A source told DailyMail.com: ‘While she is so happy that he has found a beautiful blonde woman who is more his age, her only hope is that he treats her with the love and respect that she deserves, and spends quality time with her rather than playing video games all day long.’

The insider added, ‘Britney is not looking back and has nothing but love for him and Brooke.’

The two stars first crossed paths back in 2016 while on set of the singer’s music video for Slumber Party. But after marrying in 2022, their divorce was finalized just two years later.

Earlier this year in January, Asghari reflected on the ‘darker side of Hollywood’ while also sending a positive message to Spears.
