Hoda Kotb’s daughters surprise her with early morning 60th birthday bash at home as she takes day off from Today
TODAY host Hoda Kotb has shared new photos celebrating her birthday at home surrounded by family.
Hoda, who turned 60 on Friday, shared a new Instagram post with her two daughters, Haley Joy, 7, and Hope Catherine, 5.

The Today anchor took the day off from her typical seat on the morning show as her girls surprised her with decorations, cards, and gifts.
The first photo showed Hoda opening a present while Haley and Hope stood by, surrounded by birthday balloons.
The broadcast journalist wore a “Sunshine And Whiskey” T-shirt and casual sweat shorts for the easy morning at home.
Hoda also appeared to be holding a new piece of jewelry in her hands as she cheered in excitement.
Other photos showed Hoda’s mom, Sameha Kotb, smiling alongside her granddaughters.
Also present for the at-home celebration was Hoda’s younger brother, Adel.
“Great bday morning!! Lucky me xoxoxo,” the NBC co-anchor wrote in her caption.
Fans also chimed in to wish the TV personality a happy birthday, with one telling her to “enjoy your day with your girls!!”
“Happy birthday Hoda!!! Glad you made it home in time,” a second wrote.
Hoda shares her two daughters with her ex, Joel Schiffman, whom she split from in 2022.

The journalist shared a heartwarming video with her girls earlier this week, in which they were shown running down the hallway to greet her.
“Mommy!” they screamed as Hoda opened the door.
The clip ended with photos of Hoda hugging her daughters and cuddling with them on their couch.
“Home,” she captioned the post, along with a heart emoji.

Hoda had just returned from Paris, France, where she covered the 2024 Paris Olympics alongside hosts Al Roker, 69, Savannah Guthrie, 52, and Craig Melvin, 45.
After nearly two weeks in Paris, Hoda and her co-hosts were back in New York City for Wednesday’s episode of Today.
“We’re so happy to be home in Studio 1A,” Savannah said during the airing, adding that it was “hard to leave Paris.”
One day before, Hoda’s girls got the ultimate surprise: a FaceTime from the Olympic gold medal-winning gymnastic, Simone Biles.
“Hi, girlfriend!” Simone, 27, said to one of Hoda’s girls during the call.
Hoda also shared a screenshot from the call on Instagram, adding the caption, “When u facetime your mom and daughters and @simonebiles says hi.”
