The epic challenge – Jamie’s Long Walk to London – sees him walk 182.7 miles from Cardiff to London to raise money for disadvantaged children and young people.

Breaking down, he said: ‘I have been walking with mums who have lost their kids.

‘There was a girl yesterday, who was sat in a chair and she said she didn’t have any friends because she couldn’t get out of the house and go to school.

‘She came on the walk because she thought I was a real superstar. But she’s the real superstar.’

Emma then breaks down in tears and says: ‘Oh, Jamie.’

JK interjects: ‘It’s easy to be blasé, but Jamie is doing seven marathons in seven days for Global Radio’s Make Some Noise.

Fellow presenter JK said: 'We should mention that for Jamie, every step hurts. There's a lot of emotion and he's been walking with people who are facing their own difficulties. He's doing amazingly.'

For the final stretch of the challenge on Friday morning, Jamie will be joined by friend and Global’s Make Some Noise supporter, Olly Murs, who will accompany him from Buckingham Palace to the finish point in Leicester Square.
