GEORGE Stephanopoulos’ wife Ali Wentworth has supported the couple’s friend Michael Strahan after his daughter revealed devastating news.
On Thursday, Michael, daughter Isabella, and Robin Roberts sat down for an on-camera reveal of Isabella’s malignant brain tumor diagnosis on Good Morning America.

Following the segment that aired about Isabella’s battle on TV, the official GMA Instagram account shared a couple of photos from the big interview.
The post, penned by Michael, 52, was a heartfelt tribute to his 19-year-old daughter.
They revealed Michael, Isabella, and Robin sitting in an interview room together.
One was a photo of Michael holding Isabella’s hand tightly.
“Today my daughter @isabellastrahan joined @robinrobertsgma and myself for an interview about the journey she has been going through on @goodmorningamerica,” he wrote.
“I love you Isabella and I’m always by your side. To all sending love, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts!!” the GMA host concluded.
There was an outpouring of support from friends, fans, and family members on the post.
Among some of those who offered kind words on the matter was fellow GMA anchor George Stephanopoulos’ wife Ali Wentworth.
“Proud of her!” Ali wrote in the comments section.
Others chimed in with equally encouraging messages.
“Sending love and prayers to you both big bro. God is still able to do the impossible,” commented GMA3’s DeMarco Morgan.
“Sending love and prayers to you both. And to the doctors and medical professionals at your side,” journalist Katie Couric added.
“Prayers and strength to your and your family Mike,” wrote actor and former football player Terry Crews.
MARRIAGE SECRETS
On Monday, George admitted that he and Ali are “the exception.”
During a dating segment on the show, the host opened up about his relationship with Ali.
On Friday, the GMA hosts talked about The Golden Bachelor Wedding, which happened the night before.
This led them into a segment about dating and certain rules people should follow.
Dating expert Bela Gandhi appeared on the morning show and said that people should date multiple people at once to keep their options open.
Bela also said that she had a 15 date rule, which was not going exclusive until someone until they have had 15 dates over three months.
“We have had a zero divorce rate,” she said.
After the dating expert made her point, George, 62, spoke up.
“My wife and I are the exception then,” he said.
“We met in April, got engaged in June, married in November.”
Sam Champion said he “loved that” while Bela said that it was definitely exclusivity.
A QUICK LOVE STORY
George and Ali, 58, were set up on a blind date in 2001 by a friend of Ali’s and an ex-girlfriend of George’s, according to People.
Ali wasn’t interested in dating someone who worked in politics, but she decided to go on the date because she thought it’d be a good story later.
However, their meeting turned into love at first sight.
Two months after their first date, George proposed and Ali said yes.
They didn’t waste anytime as they were married in November of the same year.
George and Ali welcomed their first daughter, Elliott, in 2002.
Ali gave birth to Harper in 2005.
“Even that [marriage] felt like tick tock, mister. What’s the hold up?” she told People in 2018.
“I was just like, let’s get married. Let’s start our lives together.”
LOVEY DOVEY
On New Year’s Eve, George and Ali shared a kiss a few hours before the ball dropped and posted it to social media for their followers to see.
The couple went to French restaurant Raoul’s in New York City.
In the Instagram photo, Ali wore a pink blouse with a feather-like pattern and her blonde hair back in a bun.
George took his glasses off for the smooch, had his arms folded on the table, and leaned into his wife’s kiss.
He wore a gray polo shirt.
“Happy New Year Everyone,” Ali captioned the post.
