The pair passed on the three-weekend event in favor of some quality time spent alone, despite many fans’ speculations that they would be traveling to the desert to see her longtime friend Lana Del Rey perform.
The 34-year-old pop diva and Kansas City Chiefs player appeared contented as they walked out of Sushi Park, a second-floor strip mall, hand in hand.
Several of Hollywood’s greatest stars, including Dua Lipa, Kendall Jenner, Beyoncé, and Harry Styles, are regular visitors to the low-key celebrity hangout.
The omakase-only Japanese restaurant is only open Tuesday through Saturday for three hours, from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm, and has a strict no photos or recordings policy.
Swift wore a dark blouse and denim skirt with a red varsity jacket featuring white racing stripes on the sleeves for their night out.
In an olive green long sleeve, matching shorts, and black sneakers, her man looked dapper.
Despite missing Coachella’s first weekend, the couple might be heading back for the second weekend, which runs from April 19 to 21.
“Taylor and Lana had dinner this week to talk about their time at Coachella, and what they will be doing and wearing,” a source told DailyMail.com.
