Gwen Stefani says she ‘literally started crying’ hearing Kanye West‘s Sunday Service cover of her No Doubt hit, Don’t Speak.
‘My heart is so full hearing this incredible version of Don’t Speak/ Lord Speaks,’ the superstar songstress, 49. ‘I’m in shock hearing this song turned into a worship song at Kanye’s Sunday Service.’
The Anaheim, California thanked Kanye, and tagged his wife Kim Kardashian into the post, asking, ‘Please send me whole version Kanye’ with the hashtag, #dontwasteyourpain.
Kardashian responded to the Hollaback Girl singer with emojis of a heart, halo and hands in prayer.
Don’t Speak, a ballad about Gwen’s split with ex-boyfriend and bandmate Tony Kanal, was a huge hit for Stefani and No Doubt from their 1995 breakout album, Tragic Kingdom. (The song was the third release off of the album behind Just a Girl and Spiderwebs.)

The song, which spent 16 weeks in the top spot on Billboard’s radio charts, and received a Best Pop Performance By A Duo Or Group With Vocal Grammy nomination in 1997.
West, 42, has been conducting gospel-infused Sunday Services as of late on the heels of his performance in April at the Coachella Music Festival.
Stars who have attended include Courtney Love, Katy Perry and Orlando Bloom.
The Famous singer, according to WWD, has sought to trademark the name Sunday Service in an effort to market apparel such as ‘bottoms, dresses, footwear, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, shirts, socks and tops.’
Stefani is currently in the midst of a staggered residency in Las Vegas playing at Planet Hollywood’s Zappos Theater, which stretches to November of 2019.
