Gwen Stefani breaks down in TEARS after Ellen DeGeneres tells singer she ‘deserves a good life’ after ‘going through tough times’

Gwen Stefani was on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday.

The 49-year-old pop entertainer had an emotional visit as host Ellen said Gwen ‘deserved’ all the good things in her life after ‘going through tough times’.

And the Just A Girl singer broke down in tears as Ellen explained: ‘That’s why I love her so much. You don’t even know how great you are.’

The real life friends were dishing on Gwen’s beau Blake Shelton and their relationship when the waterworks began.

Ellen said: ‘Gwen deserves everything she has. She deserves this love. She deserves the life that she has and the career. Cause she went through a lot.’

‘Wow, now I’m crying on TV too,’ responded Gwen.

‘I mean it,’ continued Ellen. ‘I love you and I hated to see what you were going through and you didn’t deserve it. And you deserve just everything.’

‘Thank you,’ Gwen replied as she grabbed some tissue to wipe her tears.

Ellen may have been referring to Gwen’s 2015 divorce from Gavin Rossdale which was triggered by the Bush rocker’s infidelities with the family’s longtime nanny.

But it wasn’t all heavy conversation as Ellen also tried to trick Gwen in to admitting she is engaged to Blake, even though she is not.

‘So Blake told me that y’all are engaged now,’ the 60-year-old quipped.

‘No he didn’t,’ a surprised Gwen,exclaimed. ‘No we’re not. No we’re not. No we’re not.’

Heartfelt: ‘I mean it,’ continued Ellen. ‘I love you and I hated to see what you were going through and you didn’t deserve it. And you deserve just everything’

Ellen kept up the act. ‘Yes, he told me you’re engaged. So let’s talk about that.’

‘What are you talking about?’ the mom of three insisted as she laughed.

‘We’re not. We’re not engaged, and we’re not married. And he’s my boyfriend still.’

‘But when will you get married?’ Ellen pressed.

‘I don’t know,’ Gwen answered. ‘I do not know.’

And Ellen got the last laugh as she caught Gwen off guard again by asking if Blake ‘became better in bed’ when he was named PEOPLE’s 2017 Sexiest Man Alive.

‘Oh my God,’ Gwen screamed.

‘I feel like she needs to try to take it to the next level every time I come with Blake. Oh my God! I can’t believe I just said that. That was so crazy.’

‘What? It’s a yes or no answer,’ Ellen said sweetly.

‘Next question,’ Gwen replied.
