Fox host Jesse Watters makes dark prediction about Luigi Mangione’s prison life that leaves fans confused

Fox host Jesse Watters makes dark prediction about Luigi Mangione’s life in prison following CEO’s murder

UnitedHealthcare CEO killer Luigi Mangione will be killed in prison, predicted Fox News host Jesse Watters.

The Five co-host Jeanine Pirro attempted to shut-down the suggestion that someone would target the 26-year-old alleged assassin if he were put behind bars.

But Watters insisted that Mangione deserved to die after he allegedly gunned down UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson in New York last week.

Thompson, 50, was shot outside his hotel in Manhattan on Wednesday.

Police said shell casings at the scene were etched with the words ‘deny,’ ‘defend,’ and ‘depose.’ It appears to be a nod to the 2010 book Delay, Deny, Defend: Why Insurance Companies Don’t Pay Claims and What You Can Do About It.

The suspect fled the scene on a bike and disappeared into Central Park.

His whereabouts were unknown until Monday morning when police took Mangione into custody after an elderly worker called police when they spotted him at McDonald’s in Altoona, Pennsylvania.

Reports indicate Mangione had back surgery and may suffer from chronic back pain.

Meanwhile, authorities say the suspect had a manifesto slamming the health insurance industry with one passage allegedly stating: ‘These parasites had it coming.’

He now stands charged with murdering Thomposon and was seen wearing an orange jumpsuit as he was taken into the courthouse in Pennsylvania on Tuesday.

Public reaction to Thompson’s murder ranged from condemnation of the killer, to indifference in his death to downright celebrations from critics of rich CEOs and the U.S. healthcare industry.

Those with little sympathy noted how UnitedHealthcare has the highest denial rate of any health insurer.

But Fox News hosts have across the board have criticized the public reaction, and claim the killer must be brought to justice.

On Monday evening’s episode of Fox News’ The Five at least two hosts expressed support for the man arrested for the assassination be taken out, as well.

The lone liberal co-host Harold Ford said Mangione should be executed by the state.

‘What kind of society do we live in?’ he questioned. ‘I can understand you disagreeing with the company’s policies – that doesn’t mean that you have the right, that anyone has the right to go and kill somebody.’

‘Now, this young guy right here, if indeed he’s the person, and they prosecute him… I hope he gets the death penalty,’ Ford insisted.

Jeanine Pirro interjected, noting how New York State does not have the death penalty.

‘Well, maybe you can get him to get in there,’ Ford proposed. ‘Maybe you and [President-elect Donald] Trump can figure something out.’

Jesse Watters jumped in, claiming that Mangione should face ‘justice’ in prison.

‘This guy was obviously looking for notoriety,’ Watters said. ‘And good, he’s got it.’

‘Now, he’s a prep school kid. He’s politically connected in Maryland,’ he said in reference to Mangione’s Maryland state delegate cousin.

Fellow co-host Brian Kilmeade interrupted to ask Watters if he thinks the suspect is ready to go to prison, suggesting he was intentionally caught.

‘I don’t think anyone’s ready,’ Watters replied. ‘This guy’s not ready. He’s way too soft. He’s gonna get annihilated on the inside, and good.’

‘If he’s not gonna get the death penalty, maybe someone will do him justice behind bars,’ Watters predicted. ‘That’s all I have to say about that.’

‘You should stop there,’ Pirro cut-in.

‘People say that a lot,’ he replied flippantly.
