Fans were egging on Francis Ngannou to ‘shoot his shot’ after replying to a post from Kim Kardashian on social media.

Ngannou is preparing to fight Anthony Joshua this Friday in Saudi Arabia in the biggest heavyweight fight of the year so far.

But he still has time to make mischief on social media – even causing a stir with a response to American socialite Kardashian.

Kardashian took to social media site X to post a selfie with the caption: “miss u.”

In a repost, Ngannou responded with a picture of someone pointing at themselves.

The insinuation was clear that the MMA legend was asking if Kim K was speaking about him.

And fans were loving it, seeing the 37-year-old ‘shoot his shot’ with the media personality.

One fan responded by saying: “Francis shooting his shot?!?? That’s my heavyweight champion.”

Another wrote: “Shoot your shot.”

And a third said: “You’re shooting your shot bro.”

This fan replied: “I wasn’t familiar with your game.”

However, not everyone was happy with one fan replying: “NOOOO FRANCIS DON’T DO IT.”

It is not the first time that there have been rumours over a blossoming relationship.

An online rumour started in November 2023, days after Ngannou’s fight against Tyson Fury, that the two were dating.

However, there was no substance to these rumours while Kim is said to be seeing NFL star Odell Beckham Jr instead.

Kardashian, who boasts 364 million followers on Instagram, divorced American rapper Kanye West in 2022, with whom she has four children – two daughters and two sons.

Ngannou, meanwhile, is not reportedly seeing anyone currently and has no children. His focus will be on AJ ahead of Friday night’s superstar clash.

The former UFC heavyweight champion, who lost to Fury in controversial circumstances in October, will take on Joshua in Riyadh on March 8.
