Former LSU star Hailey Van Lith has transferred to TCU Horned Frogs for the final year of her collegiate career. She announced it on social media, where she put up a video showing off her #11 TCU jersey.

“The pen has officially hit the paper,” wrote Van Lith in the caption of her introductory video.

Van Lith’s former teammate and friend, Angel Reese, supported her new beginning. Reese and Van Lith were one of the most dangerous duo for LSU last season. Reese has now been drafted by the Chicago Sky as a No. 7 pick in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Draft.

“Proud of you! you know what to do & you know I’m always rocking with you!!,” wrote Angel Reese on Hailey Van Lith’s post.

Angel Reese’s comment on Hailey Van Lith’s post drew the attention of fans, who appreciated her for always standing up for women in sports. Van Lith was exceptional in her final season at LSU, averaging 11.6 points, 2.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game in 2023–24.
