“As always Angel stepping up for others”: Fans react to WNBA star Angel Reese’s supportive message for former teammate Hailey Van Lith
Former LSU star Hailey Van Lith has transferred to TCU Horned Frogs for the final year of her collegiate career. She announced it on social media, where she put up a video showing off her #11 TCU jersey.
“The pen has officially hit the paper,” wrote Van Lith in the caption of her introductory video.
Van Lith’s former teammate and friend, Angel Reese, supported her new beginning. Reese and Van Lith were one of the most dangerous duo for LSU last season. Reese has now been drafted by the Chicago Sky as a No. 7 pick in the first round of the 2024 WNBA Draft.
“Proud of you! you know what to do & you know I’m always rocking with you!!,” wrote Angel Reese on Hailey Van Lith’s post.
