Taylor Swift has received the ‘stamp of approval’ from Travis Kelce’s mom who is said to ‘adore’ the pop superstar – while her friends are reportedly thrilled that she is dating someone outside the entertainment industry.

The singer, 33, sent the internet into meltdown again on Sunday after she was spotted cheering on the Kansas City tight end, also 33, with his mom, Donna, for a second week – and this time she also roped in her famous pals.

Taylor has been an ‘amazing person’ to Donna, according to a source who told DailyMail.com exclusively that the pair have a ‘genuine affection for each other’.

‘Donna is a mom’s mom and only wants the best for her kids,’ they said.

‘She is enjoying all that is happening with her kids and the residual effect it has had on her life, she’s in her 70s and is just having fun seeing her kids do so well, being in commercials, and being the most beloved person in the Kelce family, especially during game days.

‘And as the last several weeks have gone on with all that is happening with Taylor and her son, she thinks that Taylor is as lovely of a person as one could be. She wants Travis to be happy, and Taylor has been such an amazing person to Donna and they both have a genuine affection for each other.’

They continued: ‘Donna speaks very highly of Taylor and has given the stamp of approval to Travis when it comes to his pick on who to date. Donna is looking forward to getting to know Taylor more and more.’

Taylor and Travis have yet to confirm their relationship status, but another insider close to the singer’s girlfriends said she was looking to the future with the famous sportsman.

And she has the green light from her squad, who claim the pair share the same values, and are happy that she has found a love interest outside of the worlds of music and acting.

‘We are hearing that Taylor is very much into Travis and is looking forward to seeing where things go,’ a second source told DailyMail.com.

‘Her close girlfriends are glad she is with someone who shares the same values as her and is not in the entertainment industry.

‘He seems to balance her, and his mom and family adore Taylor.’

Taylor was briefly linked to British singer Matty Healy, 34, of The 1975 earlier this year following her split from actor Joe Alwyn, 32. She has also previously dated DJ and producer Calvin Harris, 39, and Loki actor Tom Hiddleston, 42.

Taylor and her A-list pals – including Sophie Turner and Blake Lively – went to support Travis at Sunday night’s game at New Jersey’s MetLife stadium, which saw his team beat the Jets 23-20.

She rocked up wearing a pair of $695 denim shorts – which swiftly sold out online – a black leather jacket, and red lipstick – the Chiefs’ signature color.

Donna, who arrived in the fourth quarter after cheering on her son and Philadelphia Eagles player Jason, gave Taylor a hug in the VIP box.

It comes a week after the NFL powerhouse mom was snapped chatting and cheering with Taylor at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas.
