Ahead of the Los Angeles Lakers’ playoff matchup with the Denver Nuggets, one of the highest accolades a player could hope for was bestowed upon both of their leaders. Anthony Davis and LeBron James were both invited to participate in the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris as members of Team USA’s summer roster.

Although there were speculations that they would be selected, the news is now official. Recently, Team USA delivered the jerseys to the two champions, thereby materializing the event.

Among others, Steph Curry of the Golden State Warriors, Kevin Durant of the Phoenix Suns, and Kawhi Leonard of the Los Angeles Clippers will be among the elite NBA players competing for Team USA this summer. They will endeavor to once more carry the gold medal home.

In most competitions, Team USA ranks among the top teams in the world; however, they have failed to score in recent contests. The NBA players resolved that enough was enough and therefore desired to take matters into their own hands.

The talent pool of Team USA may prove formidable for the rest of the world to compete against, owing to the team’s star power alone. However, these athletes are determined to do anything in order to restore Team USA’s preeminence.
