Mylah Morales, a former makeup artist for Diddy and Cassie Ventura, shared her deeply personal account of witnessing the aftermath of Cassie’s alleged physical abuse by Diddy in 2010.

Mylah recounted a night in a hotel where she heard screaming and yelling behind closed doors, and afterward, saw Cassie with visible injuries—knots on her head, a black eye, and a busted lip.

Morales expressed deep sadness and helplessness at the time, as both she and Cassie were afraid to report the incident due to Diddy’s power and influence in the industry.

She explained that after the alleged assault, she took Cassie to her house, where a doctor friend helped treat her injuries.

Morales highlighted how this abuse wasn’t an isolated event, noting that Cassie seemed embarrassed but not surprised, implying a pattern of abuse.

When asked if Cassie would testify against Diddy in a federal investigation, Morales expressed hope that she would but could not speak for her.

Morales also discussed the reluctance of the entertainment industry to speak out against Diddy, attributing it to the industry’s tight-knit nature and fear of retaliation.

Despite the settlement of Cassie’s lawsuit against Diddy, Morales remains devastated by the abuse and emphasizes that her motivation for speaking out is her friendship with Cassie and her outrage over how she was treated.

This conversation sheds light on the broader issue of abuse within the entertainment industry and the challenges survivors face when powerful individuals are involved.

Morales’ account adds to the ongoing legal scrutiny surrounding Diddy, with reports suggesting federal investigators are speaking to other individuals involved in lawsuits against him.

Mylah Morales continued to express her frustration with the silence surrounding abuse in the entertainment industry.

Despite being deeply hurt by witnessing abuse firsthand, she highlighted the reluctance of many in the industry to speak up, attributing it to fear.

She described how those eager to enter the industry often find themselves exposed to exploitation and abuse, yet few are willing to come forward.

Mylah voiced hope that this moment might serve as a turning point, leading to more openness and accountability in the industry.

However, she acknowledged that the fear of powerful figures like Diddy has kept many quiet.

Despite the challenges, Mylah remains committed to speaking out, motivated by her close friendship with Cassie and the pain of seeing her mistreated.

Her words resonate with many who feel that the lack of broader outcry from the industry is both frustrating and hurtful, especially when the silence enables further abuse. Mylah’s hope is that by sharing her story, it will encourage others to break their silence and demand change.
