ELIZABETH Banks has shared that a terrifying incident happened on the set of her new movie Skincare that nearly cost the star her life.
The actress appeared on Good Morning America on Tuesday to promote the film when she revealed the scary ordeal.

Elizabeth, 50, recalled the moment she choked on a pea while eating lunch alone in her trailer.
The TV star said she immediately opened her trailer door but could not call for help.
“It was terrifying,” Elizabeth admitted.
She eventually got a crew member’s attention, and he got the pea out using the Heimlich maneuver.
LIFE-SAVING MEASURES
“He saved my life, literally on the set,” the movie star confessed.
“I literally couldn’t breathe. It was super scary,” she added.
Elizabeth stars in the Austin Peters’ thriller alongside Nathan Fillion and Lewis Pullman.
According to IMDb, Elizabeth plays Hope Goldman, a woman on a mission to find out who is trying to sabotage her skincare business after a rival boutique opens across the street.
Elizabeth’s appearance on GMA also promoted the July 18 premiere of Press Your Luck.
The TV personality hosts the ABC game show, and the launch of Season 6 created quite the buzz on social media.

However, the chatter wasn’t all good, as many viewers complained about a seemingly shady move producers made on a contestant.
The show’s premise is that players compete to win cash and mega-prizes by answering trivia questions over several rounds.
However, once a player makes it to the big board, the so-called Whammy could deplete their earnings.
That’s exactly what happened to opera singer Dennis during the season premiere.

But then, he encountered a second Whammy – themed as an opera singer – who wiped him clean of his money again.
Fans voiced their frustrations at producers online for making the second Whammy an opera singer, mimicking Dennis’s profession.
Recent college graduate Gabby came out on top and racked up more than five figures in cash and prizes.
AN UNLUCKY WIN
Elizabeth previously revealed that she was an avid watcher of the show when Press Your Luck originally aired in the 1980s.
The show was hit with a big scandal in 1984 when contestant Michael Larson won by memorizing the patterns on the board.
It was canceled after three seasons.
Press Your Luck airs on Thursday nights on ABC at 8 pm EST and on Hulu the next day.
