Caitlin Clark’s Postgame Attitude Grabbed Attention After Fever Loss

The Indiana Fever continue to run through their playbook, searching for a winning opportunity just to come out empty-handed. Caitlin Clark and the Fever have struggled early in the season, losing four straight games.

They have yet to punch in their first win of the season. They have now suffered two losses to the New York Liberty and two to the Connecticut Sun.

Clark spoke on the struggles for the Fever, explaining that the close loss on Monday to the Sun “hurts a lot.” This matchup featured Indiana’s closest game of the season, after being blown out in every contest prior.

“I think you can see the progress this teams making. That’s why this one hurts a lot, because we were right there, plenty of opportunities in the game and then you don’t,” said Clark, via Talia Goodman on X.

The Fever will have another opportunity to snag their first win of the season in a game against the Seattle Storm on Wednesday.
