During Monday’s all-new episode of The Voice, viewers watched as judges were forced to pit two of their team members against one another.
The duos were tasked with singing the same song together, with judges then picking one singer as the winner of the challenge.
Many judges struggled with the decision but some more than others.
Gwen, in particular, appeared to have a hard time choosing who she wanted to dub victorious and it frustrated some The Voice viewers.
One critic complained on X, formerly Twitter: “Sick of Gwen never making a choice, didn’t miss her at all.”
The award-winning musician returned to the show in season 24 after taking some time away.
While her fans are thrilled to have her back on the stage, others would rather she stayed away.
Gwen’s return comes after her husband, Blake Shelton, stepped back from hosting The Voice.

The singer is often mocked by viewers, whether it’s for her behavior or her outfits.
Amid the backlash, she announced some exciting career news away from the show.
The Voice judge revealed on Monday that she will be headlining Cali Vibes Fest in Long Beach, California.
She shared the news in an Instagram post.
Gwen revealed the festival’s animated poster, which listed all the stars that will perform.
Shaggy, 55, Ice Cube, 54, and Wiz Khalifa, 36, are just a few of the big names chosen to take the stage during the three-day festival.
Gwen’s caption read: “SOCAL!
“Can’t wait to sing with you Saturday, Feb 17th at @calivibesfest!”
Her single, Let Me Reintroduce Myself, could be heard playing in the background.
The Cali Vibes Instagram account replied in the comments with: “Welcome to Vibes! We’re all so excited to have you!”
Her fans sent congratulatory messages in the comments, with one writing: “Got my ticket! I even already bought my outfit! Hahaha! Can’t wait! See you in February!”
“Oh! You already know I’m coming!” a second wrote.
A third chimed in: “I bet she’s gonna bring Blake out!”
GWEN’S STRUGGLES
Amid critiques of her The Voice performance, Gwen has been honest with fans about her struggles on the show.
On October 23, she shared a behind-the-scenes video before the show aired.
She confessed that the pressure of appearing on the show was beginning to get to her.
Gwen said in the clip: “Big day today – battles. I’m getting freaked out on what I’m gonna do. How do you choose?”
She then opened up about feeling emotional about the responsibility of knowing someone’s dreams of musical stardom could be crushed.
“My heart is heavy right now,” she said with a sigh.
She then cried out for her husband, stammering: “I’m back. I’m here. I’m at The Voice again. Without Blake!”
Before starting the Battles, she admitted: “What am I doing? This is gonna be tough.”
