Ken Jennings Has ‘Jeopardy!’ Fans Going Wild With Rare IG Update

Celebrity Jeopardy! season 3 is almost here, and look who is making a rare appearance on social media to prepare for it.

The hit ABC quiz show is airing new episodes beginning on Wednesday, January 8, 2025 at 9 p.m. ET, and folks are excited to see their favorite Hollywood stars guess their way to a $1 million prize for the winner’s chosen charity. In preparation for the new season, viewers got to see host Ken Jennings share a rare social media update. He doesn’t have Instagram and isn’t one to post often on X (formerly Twitter), his platform of choice. But lo and behold — he decided he’d get in on some of the action ahead of time!

Thanks to a rare selfie from Ken shared on Celebrity Jeopardy!‘s official Instagram, viewers got to see him all geared up to host what’s clearly going to be a great installment of the show. “Ken’s ready for the new season of #CelebrityJeopardy!, are you?” read the caption on December 16. “Watch the season premiere January 8 at a NEW TIME, 9/8c on ABC, and stream on Hulu!”

Given how Ken doesn’t often share behind-the-scenes moments online, fans couldn’t get enough of seeing him give a cheeky smile.

“Our celebrity crush 😍,” one person declared about Ken in the comments. “Ken’s tie game is unmatched 🤌,” another wrote. “He’s a terrific host, very personable, quick with his comments, funny, and, of course, super smart! 🙌👏😍,” a different follower added.

Even though we don’t yet know which famous faces will take the stage to compete on Celebrity Jeopardy! season 3, at least we can see how excited Ken is for what’s to come.

What’s more, there’s a lot at stake for the competitors on Celebrity Jeopardy! season 3. Season 1 winner Ike Barinholtz made an impression by qualifying for the 2024 Tournament of Champions. Additionally, season 2 champion Lisa Ann Walter will make her mark in the 2025 Tournament of Champions, where she’ll potentially face off against competitors like Adrianna Harmeyer and Survivor alum Drew Basile.
