Jeopardy! champion Amy Schneider has taken the quiz show by storm.

Amy Schneider was in awe when she was first declared the latest Jeopardy! champion. Now, with 12 consecutive wins under her belt, she’s quickly climbing the charts on the beloved game, and there are no signs of her slowing down.

The engineering manager originally from Ohio started off her streak with an impressive win when she beat five-time Jeopardy! champion Andrew He on November 17. Afterward, Amy revealed that during Final Jeopardy! she was actually taking in what she thought were her last moments on stage with host Ken Jennings. But as it turns out, it was just the beginning for the California resident.

On Thursday, Amy won her 12th consecutive game and significantly increased her total earnings to a whopping $483,000. Shortly after, Jeopardy!’s official Instagram and Twitter accounts announced that Amy was now fifth in the show’s record books for the highest winnings for regular-season play. Ken ($2,520,700), James Holzhauer ($2,462,216), Matt Amodio ($1,518,601) and Jason Zuffranieri ($532,496) occupy the top four spots.

For reference, just a few days prior, when Amy won her 10th consecutive game on Tuesday, she had $380,200 in total earnings and was ranking in eighth place for this same category. But thanks to her high wagering and runaway games, Amy is making her way closer to the top spot in the record books.

After following Amy’s exciting journey over the past two weeks and hearing this incredible news, Jeopardy! fans immediately took to social media to celebrate her. “She is amazing – keep going Amy!!! 🔥🙌❤️👏,” one person wrote on Instagram. “She is killing it. Really enjoying her power moves and wagers,” another added. “So knowledgeable, a joy to watch 👏💕,” a different fan said. “I’m rooting for you every day Amy!! You’re such an amazing contestant 🎉👋,” a follower commented.

While folks keep cheering her on, many will be delighted to know that her winning streak has also helped her qualify for the next Tournament of Champions. Amy is currently in second place right behind Matt, a 38-time Jeopardy! champion, and in front of 11-time Jeopardy! champion Jonathan Fisher.

As of right now, no date has been set for the two-week event where Jeopardy! champions who’ve won at least four games will compete for a grand prize of $250,000. That said, it’s already shaping up to be one for the books!
