Musical talent runs in the family. Gwen Stefani’s son, Zuma Rossdale — whom she shares with her ex-husband, Gavin Rossdale — made his country music debut performance at his stepfather Blake Shelton’s Ole Red bar in Tishomingo, Oklahoma this past Monday, July 29.
In a clip shared by a fan to social media, Shelton, 48, spoke to the audience before proudly introducing 15-year-old Zuma, who arrived to the stage wearing a cowboy hat, jeans, and a button-up shirt. In true Oklahoma fashion, Zuma played an acoustic guitar cover of “Oklahoma Smokeshow” by hometown hero, Zach Bryan.
The performance was met with much applause from the audience, and several fans noted Shelton was looking at Zuma proudly.
Later in the night, Zuma performed an additional cover of Bryan’s 2020 song, “Revival,” which also received a warm response from the crowd.
After clips of the performance made their way online, fans noticed how supportive Shelton appeared as his stepson performed, and also how he romantically looked at Gwen in the audience.
A fan who was present at the event noted that “Blake and Gwen were so proud!!!” watching Zuma perform.
Like his parents, many fans are noting that Zuma has the makings of a superstar at only 15 years old.
