Bizarre meaning behind North West’s $20,000 ‘Skibidi Toilet’ birthday gift for Kim Kardashian revealed

North West gifted her mom Kim Kardashian a birthday surprise that’s truly a treasure, as the estimated value of her unique necklace has been revealed.

The 11-year-old fashionista presented her makeup mogul mom with a diamond-encrusted nameplate necklace engraved with the quirky phrase ‘Skibidi Toilet’ for Kim’s 44th birthday on Monday.

Just a day later, Olivia Landau, CEO of jewelry brand The Clear Cut, estimated that each diamond on the playful piece weighs between .08 and .10 carats.

‘It also appears to be a solid gold plate engraved with Skibidi Toilet,’ Landau told People, adding that the necklace’s estimated value could range from $15,000 to $20,000.

Landau also noted that the piece perfectly combines two major trends—tennis necklaces and customizable nameplates—showing that North is truly in tune with the latest jewelry styles.

During an Instagram Live video on Monday, Kim unveiled the necklace with North by her side, and the young fashionista exclaimed that her mom ‘loved’ Skibidi Toilet, the viral web series created by 23-year-old Alexey Gerasimov.

The internet creator uploaded an 11-second video onto his YouTube Channel DaFuq!?Boom! called ”skibidi toilet’ on February 7, 2023 and the phenomenon was born.

The initial video saw a head emerging from a toilet while singing.

It became a cultural phenomenon as it evolved into more than 70 videos -which ranged from one to five minutes and depicted the escalating war between  toilets and cyborgs.

Each of the video is violent and explosive with no actual discernable dialog leading it to be a hit to a global audience.

While the front of Kim’s necklace sparkled with a trendy flair, the back held a more sentimental touch, featuring an engraving from North that read, ‘Love, North,’ along with the date—October 21, 2024.

But that diamond necklace wasn’t the only birthday surprise Kim received this year.

She also shared on her Instagram Stories that her daughter Chicago, 6, along with siblings Saint, 8, and Psalm, 5, transformed the living room into a festive haven filled with pink balloons.

Each balloon was adorned with Polaroid pictures of Kim and her kids, adding a personal touch to the celebration, including snapshots of Kim herself.

It’s no surprise that North West, already making waves as a style icon, would pick such a trendy gift for her mom.

The eldest daughter of Kim and ex-husband Kanye West recently chatted with Kim for Interview Magazine, where they explored her style influences.

Meanwhile, North’s thoughtful necklace for Kim wasn’t the only gift the model-turned-actress received; she was showered with love from her famous friends.
