Angel Reese Reveals Her Stance on Marriage, 3 Months After Confirming Relationship With Boyfriend Cam’Ron Fletcher

Angel Reese is one of the hottest names in the basketball world right now. Although Reese’s basketball skills have given her a large international following, her love story with boyfriend Cam’Ron Fletcher has elevated her popularity to entirely new levels.

The basketball couple’s story is quite captivating. They met six years ago through their shared love for basketball. However, it was during the pandemic that they became closer. Reese then confirmed the relationship back in June 2023, sending her fans into a frenzy.  Now, three months after making her relationship public, Reese recently shared her thoughts on marrying her beau.

Angel Reese and Cam’Ron Fletcher have not only established themselves on the court but also in the media for their relationship. Reese, a 6-foot-3 forward who was instrumental in LSU’s 2023 national championship triumph, and Fletcher, a 6-foot-7 wing who transferred from Kentucky to Florida State, have been seeing each other for a number of months now.

While many rumors flew around their relationship, it was Reese who acknowledged it by saying, “Cam’Ron is boyfriend, yes.”

She further stated on an episode of the podcast 1 Star Recruits, “Me and Cam’Ron have known each other for six years, so that kinda helped …that we already know each other. So that kind of helps a lot. We both play the same sport, so we understand each other’s schedule. I think that also helps with it too.”

Following their relationship going public, fans have been seeing a lot of the couple, particularly on their social media handles. To take their relationship a step further, the couple added an adorable member to their family this month – Tiago, a toy chocolate Yorkie. By the looks of it, things are definitely getting serious for the basketball couple.

Recently, the LSU icon shared her thoughts on marriage, adding more heat to the already interesting basketball couple.  Angel Reese went live on Instagram recently and was asked if she’d marry her boyfriend, “Would you get married to Camron…?” She replied without hesitating, “Of course.”

Meanwhile, following her intense surge to fame, Reese has been attending online classes.

Angel Reese’s outstanding contribution to the LSU women’s basketball team’s victory in the national championship propelled her to a newfound fame. She rapidly became well-known thanks to her exceptional performances throughout the Big Dance, consistent double-doubles in each of LSU’s six victories, and her astounding display against Iowa in the title game.

Reese, nevertheless, had unexpected challenges adjusting to her newfound fame. She accepts, “I don’t feel like I’m a celebrity, but I think a lot of people look at me as a celebrity now because of the impact I’ve had on not just women’s basketball, but sports in general, and black women. Things have changed for me.” In fact, Reese has been attending online classes ever since her national victory, as she told Teen Vogue.

“School’s first, basketball is next,” she admitted, “I wouldn’t be here without school and basketball, so that’s my priority.” With Cam’Ron Fletcher and Tiago by her side, Angel Reese surely is in for a ride as she embarks on her senior season at LSU.
