Angel Reese Delivers Stern Message On First-Round WNBA Draft Pick
Angel Reese may be a rookie in the WNBA, but her voice is heard by many. She was a superstar off the court at LSU and that fandom has transferred to the professional atmosphere.
Reese has been able to voice her opinion on many subjects and reach a wide range of people who can influence changes.
Her latest request is to get Seattle Storm rookie Nika Muhl her visa. Muhl was drafted with the No. 14 overall pick in the 2024 WNBA draft but has yet to make her league debut.
Following her time with the UConn Huskies, Muhl has dealt with a pending visa. She was able to play for a few years at UConn after earning a school visa, but that has since been rescinded since she graduated.

Reese is calling for the league’s help to get Muhl her visa. She believes Muhl should get the same respect as other players and teams across the league, reiterating that there aren’t any teams that should lie in favor over another.
“Get Nika her visa NOW, charter flights are HERE, give every team the same PUBLICITY cause it ain’t just one team, online bullying ain’t it AT ALL, and oh the CHICAGO SKY ARE HERE & ON THE RISE!,” said Reese on X.
