After four Summer League games, it has become very clear that Bronny James is struggling with the Los Angeles Lakers. After four Summer League games, it has become very clear that Bronny James is struggling with the Los Angeles Lakers.
He has gone 7-of-31 from the field and 0-of-15 from the three-point line during that time, which has left many fans scratching their heads about why he was selected in the draft.

James definitely hasn’t been performing like a future All-Star.
However, it is worth remembering that he was selected as the No. 55 pick in the recent draft, placing him toward the very bottom of the class of rookies.
He is performing about as well as most other No. 55 picks have in the past.
But James isn’t a regular No. 55 selection.
Instead, he is the son of perhaps the greatest NBA player of all time and is gaining way more attention than anyone else from this year’s class.
At this point, James has definitely heard some of the negative feedback about his playing.
How will that affect him moving forward?
Will he be able to find his rhythm on the court and gain more confidence?
Or will the criticism about the young star only continue over the next few months?
Things may have gotten off to a bad start for James in the Summer League but his career has just begun and he has plenty of time to improve.
