ANGELINA Jolie stepped out on the red carpet with her rarely seen son Knox Jolie-Pitt – who is the spitting image of his movie star dad.

The 16-year-old – one of her six children with ex Brad Pitt, 60 – proudly joined his actress mum at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences 15th Governors Awards in Los Angeles.

The pair linked arms as they arrived at the prestigious event, flashing smiles for the cameras as they posed.

Angelina, 49, looked stunning in a gold strapless dress with a darker panel on the top.

The tiered hemline reached to the floor and the Maleficent actress accessorised with a chunky silver choker necklace and huge drop earrings.

She styled her brunette locks in a half-up style and kept her make-up fresh, with dark mascara and red lip gloss.

Knox, who has a twin sister Vivienne, donned a chic black suit with a black bow tie.

He wore a crisp white shirt underneath and a close cut-hairstyle.

The teen is already the same height as Angelina and stood side by side with his mum.

This summer, the pair were spotted enjoying a shopping trip in Los Angeles.

Knox was also seen with siblings Shiloh, Zahara and Pax as they stepped out for coffee together.

Yet, this summer, 20-year-old Pax was “feared dead” after a horrific motorbike crash in LA.

Angelina and Brad met on the set of the movie Mr. & Mrs. Smith in 2003 and tied the knot over 10 years later on August 23, 2014.

While the two had been dating for years, their marriage only lasted two years before the pair filed for divorce in September 2016.

Brad was granted visitation rights.

Speaking on their divorce to Vogue India, Angelina said it was for the family’s “wellbeing.”

“It was the right decision. I continue to focus on their healing,” she told the outlet.”

Talking of their kids, she added: “In fact, they are six very brave, very strong young people.”

The Sun recently exclusively revealed Angelina’s secret dates with toyboy rapper Akala after she sneaked up into her hotel suite.

The music star, 40, has already met the Oscar-winner’s family and was spotted giving her son Pax a hug at another premiere.
