Presenter Carson Daly is back, as well as judges Reba McEntire, Gwen Stefani, Michael Bublé and Snoop Dogg.

One singer called Sydney Sterlace impressed them all with her rendition of Olivia Rodrigo’s song Drivers Licence.

But viewers all said the same thing when Gwen brought out a cat after the performance.

Walking away from her seat, Gwen said: “You know Sydney… I had this little thing happen to me.

“This little creature came up to my porch and was like barely alive and was like ‘I love you, you’re my new cat’ but I don’t have a name!

“Then I thought maybe I can name it Sydney. This cat’s name is Sydney!”

One wrote on Reddit: “Did anyone else find it a little disturbing the way she handled that tiny kitten and how she was screaming in its ear? But that Sidney has a beautiful voice.”

Another said: “I actually noticed this too, I’m not a cat owner or anything but idk if you’re supposed to hold kittens the way she was lol.”

“Very odd! I’m assuming from the way she handled it, it actually was not her kitten,” a third added.

A fourth chimed in: “It was disturbing how this poor terrified “very young” animal was waved and yanked around in the air like a stuffed toy.”

However another said: “I’m sure the kitten is fine.”

Back in May Gwen shared a cute new video of her famous family’s new additions at her Oklahoma mansion.

Gwen and her husband Blake Shelton, 46, welcomed several adorable kittens into their home as their precious calico cat had a litter of six kittens back in April.

Meanwhile other The Voice viewers thought that one of the new coaches ‘stole the show’.

Many are over the moon that Snoop makes up part of the panel.

The Voice coaches for Season 27

On June 5, 2024, it was revealed which four well-known musical acts would take a seat in the spinning coaches chair next year.

In a video shared on The Voice’s official social media accounts, they shared videos from the Season 27 coaches.

Adam Levine

Adam was one of the original coaches during Season 1 of the reality TV series alongside Blake Shelton, CeeLo Green, and Christina Aguilera.

The singer is most known for his role as the frontman of pop music group Maroon 5.

Kelsea Ballerini

The Grammy-award nominated artist will join The Voice in 2025.

However, during Season 20, she filled in for coach Kelly Clarkson.

John Legend

Returning coach John has been on the show since Season 16 in 2019.

The R&B singer, also married to Chrissy Teigen, was on the show during Season 12 as an advisor.

Michael Bublé

Michael will be joining The Voice during Season 26 and will continue his role as a coach during Season 27.

In the fall, he will sit alongside Snoop Dogg, Reba McEntire, and Gwen Stefani.

One wrote on social media: “Really did not think I could possibly love Snoop more, and yet here we are. He’s PERFECT for this show.”

A second fan said: “I love seeing Snoop on The Voice. He’s a great addition to the show.”

A third commented: “It’s been 8 mins and snoop already made this the best season.”

Meanwhile others didn’t think that Michael didn’t leave much of an impact.

One wrote: “I really enjoy Snoop! I liked Michael okay. I think he‘ll settle in. Overall, I like this group.”

Another said: “Michael is ok, didn’t leave too much impact for me but I like him.”

“I initially liked Michael, but when he started speaking in other languages, and badly at that, it just made him look desperate and cringe.”
