TV host Greg Gutfeld has announced he and his wife Elena Moussa have welcomed a baby girl, sparking curiosity from the online community.
The 60-year-old had been absent from Fox News’ The Five for weeks, leaving many wondering if the long-running network had fired him.
However, during Tuesday’s episode of Fox News’ The Five, Gurfeld’s co-host Dana Perino shared a statement from him, announcing that he and his wife of 20 years, Elena Moussa, 42, had welcomed a baby girl.
“This is going to be a great surprise for a lot of you,” Dana began, before adding: “You might have noticed that our friend Greg Gutfeld hasn’t been here for a couple of weeks, and it’s for a good reason.
“This is a statement that he sent me today. So I’m reading this as if I’m Greg,” she continued. “It is with great joy that my wife Elana and I have welcomed a baby girl into the world. Mira is healthy with a real set of lungs.”

The couple has been together for over two decades but they prefer to keep their relationship private.
According to Mandatory, Moussa works in the fashion industry and was born and raised in Russia.
She used to work as a photo editor for Maxim Russia and later forayed into styling and designing.
Moussa has been featured in several prominent magazines around the globe.
According to her official Linkedin account, she earned her degree in Fashion or Apparel Design in 2015 from the Parsons School of Design in New York City.
She often shares her projects on her Instagram page, which showcases her impressive portfolio, working for various magazines such as Venice Magazine, Design Scene and L’Officiel.
When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, Moussa’s mother was stranded in Ukraine and had taken shelter in a hotel in Lviv.
Gutfeld shared the news during a segment of The Five and played a clip of the moment on the talk show.
“Oh my God, it was awful. It was absolutely awful,” Moussa said in the video, when asked what it was like waiting for her mother’s arrival. “But I’m so happy to have her here.”
Gutfeld first met Moussa during a business trip in Portugal in 2004.
The TV host served as the editor-in-chief of Maxim’s U.K edition at the time, while Moussa was working for Maxim Russia.
Moussa then moved to London, but the pair later relocated to New York after Gutfeld’s contract at Maxim expired.
After only a few months of dating, the couple got married that same year.
Gutfeld and Moussa also have an adorable French Bulldog named Gus, who is often featured on their social media pages (via People).
While appearing on the Club Random Podcast in March 2023, Gutfeld opened up about meeting Moussa for the first time.
“I met her and I go, ‘Oh, that’s my wife.’ I just knew it,” he told host Bill Maher. “And then I spent three days in Portugal trying to talk to her.”
In his statement about the birth of his daughter, Gutfeld continued: “She has Elana’s beautiful eyes and my rock-hard abs. We are hard at work teaching her three languages and putting her through rigorous workout routines.
“She is already very observant and has asked if Jesse wears a toupee. I told her that he definitely wears a wig,” it went on, poking fun at Greg’s other co-star Jesse Watters.
The message concluded, referring to his beloved French Bulldog: “As you can understand, we value our privacy, and we thank everyone for the good wishes. And now I have to go stop Gus from licking her face.”
