Inside Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s ‘special time’ during NFL offseason after mom Donna dropped baby hint
After a high-profile, whirlwind 2024, Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift have opted for a dramatic change this NFL offseason.
The Kansas City Chiefs star briefly resurfaced earlier this week to train with high school footballers but aside from his small charitable act, the couple have very much flown under the radar.
And that’s the way they intend to keep it. According to a report, the A-List lovebirds have been soaking up every second of private time they can snatch.
‘They have been traveling nonstop and very much enjoy it,’ a source told PEOPLE. ‘They are making the most of their time off together. They are hanging out with friends, too. It’s a special time for them.’
And it appears their time away from the public eye has only brought them closer together as the insider added that the couple are ‘very serious and in sync.’
‘They value the same things. Right now, the focus is very much on private time out of the spotlight,’ they said.

The report comes after Kelce’s mom Donna ignited speculation that the couple could be set to take their relationship to the next level.
Donna, who has garnered her own celebrity in recent years, sparked rumors of baby news between her youngest son and the 14-time Grammy Award winner, days after becoming a grandmother for the fourth time.
Jason Kelce recently welcomed his fourth daughter , Finnley Anne, with wife Kylie and introduced Kansas City Chiefs star Travis to her over FaceTime when they were recording their latest New Heights episode together.
The heartwarming scenes went viral and Donna shared the emotional clip on her Facebook page, to which one of her friends commented: ‘Trav’s going to make a wonderful father, just like Jason!’
Donna, arguably the most famous mom in the NFL, responded with a love-heart emoji to the kind message.
She acknowledged every comment of congratulations with the same response but the Travis and Taylor fans around the world inevitably interpreted it as a sign of what the future might hold.
Swift and Kelce enjoyed a whirlwind offseason last year as the tight end spent his summer following the songstress around the world as she entertained the masses on her wildly successful Eras Tour.
The NFL star even left 90,000 fans shocked when he made an onstage appearance at Wembley Stadium last June to perform alongside the pop sensation during the ‘Tortured Poets Department’ set of one of her London Shows.

Meanwhile, he also delved into his own media ventures, filming his TV show ‘Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?’ and Ryan Murphy’s horror series, ‘Grotesquerie.’
This year, though, Kelce has kept a lower profile. He last month enjoyed dinner with Swift in New York and travelled to Montana for a skiing trip.
Recent reports suggested that Kelce believes the circus surrounding his relationship caused a dip in his performances on the field.
It’s claimed he wanted a breather from all the attention and last week Kelce was on the training field away from prying eyes.
The 35-year-old is looking to bounce back from February’s Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles, after which he contemplated retiring from the NFL.
Kelce decided to continue his career for at least one more season and, as reported by the Daily Mail , he won’t let his girlfriend’s fame get in the way.
‘Travis is going all in for this season and the only thing that could derail him would be injury. Losing the Super Bowl was a major blow, as he wants to be someone that can have it all and one who can handle having it all,’ a source said.
‘[The couple] don’t have to be the center of attention anymore and are going to often not be seen out and about as much as they have been… h is on field play needs to improve, and he knows that.’
