(VIDEO) Caitlin Clark RESPONDED when Angel Reese taunted her at the end of the national championship

At the end of the game, Caitlin Clark was asked by USA Today to comment on the incident involving Angel Reese, who followed her around, pointing to her ring finger and taunting her.

Clark responded with grace and sportsmanship, saying, “Honestly, I have no idea. I was just trying to get to the handshake line and shake hands and be grateful that my team was in that position.”

Clark emphasized the importance of holding her head high and being proud of her team’s achievements, regardless of the outcome. She praised LSU for their performance, acknowledging that they had a tremendous season and were deserving champions. She also commended LSU’s coach, Kim Mulkey, describing her as one of the best basketball coaches of all time and appreciating the kind words Mulkey shared with her in the handshake line.

Reflecting on the moment, Clark noted, “I was just trying to spend the last few moments on the court with the five people that I’ve started 93 games with and relish every second of that.” Her response highlighted her focus on sportsmanship and the bonds she shares with her teammates.
