5 reasons The Voice fans beg for Gwen Stefani to be fired as coach including her worst team picks and ‘awful’ outfits

GWEN Stefani has been a coach on The Voice for several seasons, but fans have begged the show to fire her.

The 54-year-old singer joined The Voice almost a decade ago in September 2014 and appeared in seasons 7, 9, 12, 17, 19, 22, and 24.

Even though she’s found success on the show, some fans have asked producers to fire her and some have called for a boycott.

WE WANT KELLY

At the end of November, fans vowed to boycott the show if Gwen wasn’t replaced by a former coach Kelly Clarkson, 41.

The US daytime TV show host was a coach on the show during seasons 14 through 21.

Fans on X, formerly known as Twitter, didn’t hold back and one wrote: “I hate Gwen Stefani. I miss Kelly Clarkson.”

Another agreed: “Me too, I loved Kelly and I kinda don’t wanna watch anymore, Gwen’s such a disappointment.”

A third added: “WHAT DO WE HAVE TO DO TO GET KELLY BACK? Gwen has got to go.”

A fourth exclaimed: “I love Gwen but she sucks at being a judge. why do they keep inviting her? Kelly, where are you?!”

MASSEY CONTROVERSY

This season, Gwen came under fire for her coaching after viewers slammed her for “hurting” one of her contestants, Tanner Massey.

In the episode, Tanner had a final opportunity to remain on the television show, but he was knocked out of the competition.

Gwen told Tanner to perform Thnks fr th Mmrs by the rock band Fall Out Boy, which even guest coach Chance The Rapper admitted was “hard” to sing.

Fans online think that Gwen set him up for failure by choosing a song that didn’t suit his vocal talents.

On X, one viewer raged: “Gwen is trying SO hard not to say ‘That sucked.’ But the more she talks in circles, the more it becomes obvious to everyone – including Tanner – that it was awful. #TheVoice.”

Over on YouTube, another added: “Gwen should never have given him that song, that is hurting him and Tanner should never have agreed to sing a song that does not suit his vocal ability…”

‘BIGGEST MISTAKE’

At the end of November, Team Gwen went from six singers to three in a shocking episode.

After her team took the stage, Gwen was tasked with choosing which singers she was sending through to the live round.

In the end, the former No Doubt frontwoman chose Bias, Kara Tenae, and Tanner Massey.

This meant she sent Stee, Lennon VanderDoes, and Rudi Leigh packing – and fans were not happy with her decision.

On social media, fans let Blake Shelton, 47, know about his wife’s “crazy” decision.

One fan said: “Rudi is destined for greatness and by far the most talented and only reason I watched this show.”

“Getting rid of Rudi was CRAZY,” another added.

A third warned: “You made the biggest mistake.”

A fourth fan pointed out: “Gwen got it wrong. Very wrong. The only person’s music I’d want to listen to is Rudi’s.”

ANNOYING HABIT

Earlier in the season, Gwen faced criticism and calls for her firing as viewers complained about her live show habits.

During an earlier episode of the show in October, viewers watched as judges were forced to pit two of their team members against one another.

The duos were asked to sing the same song together, and then the coaches would choose one singer as the winner of the challenge.

Many judges struggled with the decision, but Gwen seemed to struggle more than others.

She appeared to have a hard time choosing who she wanted to dub victorious and that frustrated some The Voice viewers.

One critic complained on X: “Sick of Gwen never making a choice, didn’t miss her at all.”

PROMOTING NEW CAREER

Gwen has been promoting her career outside of The Voice after viewers stated they wanted her fired from The Voice.

On November 22, she took to her Instagram Story to show off products from her GXVE Beauty makeup collection.

In the clip, she appeared with a mostly-done face of makeup that included bright blue winged eyeliner and heavy black mascara.

She applied a light-colored lipstick as she filmed and then held it up to the lens so fans could see it.

Gwen went on to put on a layer of shiny gloss on top while showing off the name of the shade.

Before the video came to an end, the Just a Girl singer touched up the rest of her glam.

Amid the backlash, she’s been promoting her beauty brand online, leading fans to believe she’s planning her exit.
