Most recently, Jada, 52, clapped back at daytime TV host Ana, 51, claiming she didn’t do her “homework” before commenting on her book.
Jada was a guest on Charlamagne tha God’s podcast, The Breakfast Club, where she opened up about her book’s critics – specifically Ana.
“Well, I think if she took time to read the book, you know? I think that, if you wanna just read headlines, I could see how that could be confusing,” Jada remarked, adding: “But the book is right here.”
She continued by saying people “have a right to their opinions” and claimed “anybody who’s saying that hasn’t really done their homework.”
Jada explained that she is aware of the negativity that has stemmed from people reading comments and headlines about her book and admitted to having behaved similarly in the past.
Therefore, she has learned to let it go and not feel as if she can judge others.
Despite critics, Jada confirmed her family, including husband Will Smith, 55, and kids Jaden, 25, and Willow, 23 are aware of the truth.
“Will knows what it is, I know what it is, my kids know what it is, and, more importantly, Great Supreme does too,” she said.
“That’s really all I’m concerned with at the end of the day.”
ANA’S THOUGHTS
The memoir was brought up multiple times on The View, with Ana labeling Jada’s actions as “unseemly” as she believed the actress was dropping bombshells about her marriage just to sell more books.
Ahead of the memoir’s release, Jada sat down with NBC host Hoda Kotb, 59, on Today, where she revealed she and Will secretly split in 2016.
After Jada’s book came out, Ana even claimed she was finished discussing the “Jada thing” as the memoir was part of an episode’s Hot Topics segment.
Ana said she believed Will was “being held emotionally prisoner,” adding that she was done defending the actor due to him publicly showing support for Jada.
The host also confirmed she would not be reading Worthy, harshly saying: “I don’t wanna read the book. I don’t wanna give them another dime for her emasculating and embarrassing him to everybody in the world.”
WILL & JADA
Since splitting in 2016, the estranged couple has been keeping up public appearances, including the famous Oscars slap of 2022 where Will referred to Jada as his wife.
During the sit-down on Today, Jada said she and Will weren’t ready to share their separation publicly as they were figuring out “how to be in a partnership.”
The mom of two said it was “a lot of things” and that they were “stuck inside a fantasy” of what they thought the other person should be.
“By the time we got to 2016, we were just exhausted of trying,” Jada articulated.
However, Jada noted the “beautiful” aspect of the situation, explaining how it has brought them closer.

“Instead of trying to be a thing it’s like just tearing all that down and finding what’s true between us and it’s been beautiful. It’s been difficult, but beautiful.”
Later on in the interview, the Red Table Talk host said that there is “no finding other great love.”
