Paris Fury breaks her silence after suffering tragic miscarriage which saw her world ‘ripped to pieces’ and reveals why she kept the loss a secret from husband Tyson
Paris Fury has broken her silence after tragically suffering a miscarriage the day before husband Tyson’s heavyweight defeat by Oleksandr Usyk in Dubai in May.
The mother, 35, described how her world was left ‘ripped to pieces’ by the loss of the couple’s eighth child, a son, at six months, but chose not to tell the boxer ahead of his big match.
Paris told The Mirror: ‘I had to make the decision, do I tell him? And I came to the conclusion that whatever was happening with me, I couldn’t change it. But I could change dramatically what was happening in his life.’
Paris explained she learned the awful news during a routine gender scan, when no heartbeat was found and she was later forced to give birth to her deceased child naturally, as she praised staff at the Lancaster Hospital for their support.
Determined not to tell Tyson, 36, over the phone she kept the news a secret until he returned to the UK following the match, despite his pleas for her to join him in Saudi Arabia.

‘It does affect the father, but for the woman who carries that child, it is more severe. No matter how much it hurts Tyson, it’s ten times worse for me. But where I’d had time to process the idea, it took him days to face the burial. He said, “I can’t do it right now”,’ he said.

The devastating loss marked the couple’s third miscarriage and they buried their baby in a private location, choosing to remain silent, before Tyson shared the news publicly last month.
Offering advice to other mother’s who have suffered a miscarriage she said: ‘At the time it feels like your world is ripped to pieces. But I know everyone can get through it. And what is so traumatic one day, becomes a memory. You know, you had that little piece of life, even if it’s such a short time. Mentally I’m at ease with what went on. Physically, I’m OK.’
Sadly, this isn’t the first time Paris has suffered a miscarriage without telling Tyson for fear of upsetting him before a fight.
Four years ago, she admitted keeping her miscarriage in 2018 a secret from her husband because he was due to make his long-awaited return to the boxing ring after a two-and-a-half-year hiatus.
During an appearance on This Morning, Paris recalled how she sat ‘crying alone’ in her car after she found out and had to ‘grin and bear it’ because she felt she had to ‘hold it all together’ ahead of Tyson’s big comeback fight.
She told then-hosts Phillip Schofield and Holly Willoughby: ‘It started a couple of days before a fight and it was very early on to him returning to the ring and it was early on but I had to keep it to myself…

Back in 2021 Paris candidly shared the ‘devastating’ pain she felt after losing two babies on her road to parenthood
‘I had to grin and bear it, I had to sit alone in the car, crying on my own… I’m trying to keep it together because I’m the glue of the home,’ she continued.
Paris learned of her miscarriage on the same day Tyson made his long-awaited comeback after three years out the ring against Sefer Seferi in June 2018, but did not tell her husband until after he had got his hand raised.
Four years prior to her miscarriage, Paris gave birth to a stillborn baby in 2014, when five months pregnant – and has said ‘it’s something I’ll never really get over’.
Back in 2021 Paris candidly shared the ‘devastating’ pain she felt after losing two babies on her road to parenthood.
After enduring the stillbirth in 2014 and then suffering a devastating miscarriage at eight weeks shortly before Tyson’s 2018’s comeback, choosing again not to tell her husband straight away.
Marking Baby Loss Awareness Week, Paris reached out to those who have gone through a similar situation, as she candidly shared how ‘lonely’ she felt after experiencing both miscarriage and a stillbirth.
