‘Family Feud’ Fans React After ‘Brutal’ Fast Money Questions That Were ‘Hardest Ever’

Survey says… those questions were tough! Fans of Family Feud are up in arms after witnessing what many are calling the hardest Fast Money round in the show’s history. The challenging set of questions left contestants struggling and viewers in shock.

The episode aired on February 20 and featured the McLemore family facing off against the Clay family. After a competitive main game, the McLemore family emerged victorious, securing their place in the final Fast Money round. For their attempt at winning $20,000, they chose Sandra and Yolanda to represent them.

Sandra was up first, and her answers sparked a mix of amusement and concern among viewers. Her responses included:

“The bar” for “Name a place starting with the letter ‘B’ that you spend many hours.”
“Turf” for “Fill in the blank: Aqua ____.”
“Five” for “How many hours a day does a cat sleep?”
“A straw” for “Name something that is long and thin.”
“A rose” for “Name the world’s most beautiful flower.”

Despite her best efforts, Sandra only managed to score 74 points, leaving a steep climb for Yolanda, who needed 126 points to win the $20,000 prize.

Yolanda’s answers were:

“Books” for the first question.
“Aqua Velvet” for the second.
“12 hours” for the third.
“Belt” for the fourth.
Initially repeating “rose” for the last question before changing it to “calla lily.”

Unfortunately, Yolanda only reached a total of 100 points, meaning the McLemore family fell short of the grand prize. However, they didn’t leave empty-handed, as they earned $500 ($5 per point earned).

Following the round, host Steve Harvey revealed the top answers:

“Bedroom/bed” was the top response for the first question.
“Aqua Velva” for the second.
“20 hours” for the third.
“Pen or pencil” for the fourth.
“Rose” for the final question.

The game segment was later uploaded to Family Feud’s official YouTube channel, where fans quickly flooded the comments section with their opinions. Many viewers agreed that the Fast Money questions were unusually difficult.

“Tough questions,” wrote one fan.
“This was a hard one,” added another.
“Too many hard questions,” commented a third viewer.
“Ridiculous unfair questions with unlimited answers should not be permitted,” wrote a frustrated fan.

Some fans specifically pointed out the questionable validity of the “Aqua” question. “These questions are hard and they could’ve given her ‘Aqua’,” a YouTube user noted.

“These were the hardest group of FM questions I’ve ever seen,” another fan declared.

Despite the controversy, Family Feud has long been known for its unpredictable and sometimes tricky questions. While this episode may go down as one of the toughest Fast Money rounds ever, it certainly gave fans plenty to talk about.

‘Family Feud’ Fans React After ‘Brutal’ Fast Money Questions That Were ‘Hardest Ever’

Survey says… those were tough questions. Family Feud fans called out the game show for having the “hardest” Fast Money questions they have ever seen.

The McLemore family faced off against the Clay family on Thursday, February 20. The McLemore family won the game, surpassing 300 points and advancing to the Fast Money round. Out of their five members, the family picked Sandra and Yolanda to answer the questions.

Sandra went first. She answered the first question — “Name a place starting with the letter ‘B’ that you spend many hours” — with “the bar.” The second question was “Fill in the blank: Aqua ____.” Sandra shouted out, “Turf!”

“How many hours a day does a cat sleep?” was the third question. The game show contestant answered with “five!” Sandra’s eyes opened wide at the fourth question, “Name something that is long and thin.” She answered: “A straw!”

The final question was, “Name the world’s most beautiful flower.” Sandra’s answer was “a rose.”

Sadly, Sandra only scored 74 out of 200 points, but, they still had a shot because Yolanda was coming up next and she only needed 126 points in order to win $20,000, which has been done many times on Family Feud.

To the same questions, Yolanda answered, “books,” “Aqua Velvet,” “12 hours,” “belt,” and “calla lily.” However, she originally passed on the first answer and answered “rose” initially for the last answer, tripping her up as the clock counted down. She only reached 100 points, so they did not win the prize. The McLemore family received $5 per point, taking home $500.

Host Steve Harvey revealed the number one answers to be “bedroom/bed,” “Aqua Velva,” “20 hours,” “pen or pencil,” and “rose.”

The Fast Money round was posted to Family Feud‘s YouTube page and fans commented on how tough the five questions were.

“Tough questions,” one fan said.

“This was a hard one,” wrote another.

“Too many hard questions,” added a third.

“Ridiculous unfair questions with unlimited answers should not be permitted,” wrote a fan.

These questions are hard and they could’ve gave her aqua,” commented a YouTube user.

These were the hardest group of FM questions I’ve ever seen,” a fan said.

Those were some brutal questions IMO. Minus the last one,” wrote one last fan.
