The View fans call for Meghan McCain’s firing as she skips show for second day
MEGHAN McCain was absent from The View for the second day in a row – and viewers are so happy they’re calling for it to be a “permanent change.”
With a taste of what it’s like without the cohost, fans of the talk show are calling for ABC to fire her from the program.

The 35-year-old TV host, and daughter of the late former Senator John McCain skipped out on Thursday’s taping without notice, while her Friday leave was reportedly planned for personal reasons.
Fellow co-host Joy Behar announced the absence at the start of the broadcast, saying: “Meghan is off today and will be back on Monday.
“But Ana [Navarro] is here and joining us as guest co-host is the lovely and talented Yvette Nicole Brown.”
Viewers were so thrilled about the new atmosphere on the show they took to Twitter to share their feelings with ABC, The View and other fans.

One wrote: “@TheView I just want to say that I’ve been home from work sick for 3 days. Watching the show sans @MeghanMcCain for the past two days has been FABULOUS!!! The show was SO pleasant. LOVED IT!!!”
Another tweeted: “@MeghanMcCain isn’t on #TheView @ananavarro is there and @YNB is killing it in NutMeg’s seat. @TheView why don’t you make this a PERMANENT change?! The energy is SO MUCH BETTER!”
A third asked for The View to “fire NutMeg” because they want to be able to hear the other co-hosts and “not the spoiled brat.”
Someone else echoed that notion, saying: “I will not miss Meghan McCain in the slightest if she is gone. She should been fired a very long time ago.”

As the tweeter stated, Meghan’s had quite a few on-air feuds with her co-workers over the past couple of years, with one of the most recent ones being with Whoopi.
