We’re just days away from the first episode of Jeopardy! Masters season 2, and it looks like we have a first look at what’s to come!

As viewers gear up for the premiere of the TV franchise’s latest installment on May 1 at 8 p.m. ET on ABC, folks got to see contestants James Holzhauer, Matt Amodio, Amy Schneider, Mattea Roach2024 Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions winner Yogesh Raut and Jeopardy! Invitational Tournament champion Victoria Groce get into the competition in a way no one saw coming.

In a behind-the-scenes video uploaded on Jeopardy!‘s Instagram on April 24, the group decided to participate in posing for their own version of E! News‘ iconic “glambot,” which social media users typically see the outlet do online for Hollywood award shows. As the camera landed on each competitor, they all showed off their game faces before the tournament starts to heat up.

“Let the #JeopardyMasters show you how #glambots are done 😎 ✨,” the show’s social team cheekily captioned the snippet on April 24.

When fans of the TV franchise noticed Jeopardy! gave a glimpse at the competition ahead of the season 2 premiere, they flooded the comments section with words of excitement.

“Matt and Mattea understood the assignment,” one person penned in the comments. “I’m obsessed with this tournament already!! Let’s Goooo 😍😍😍😍😍,” another declared. “This #Jeopardy tournament will be epic 💙,” a different follower exclaimed.

But wait — there’s more! Alongside posting the clip of the Jeopardy! Masters season 2 contestants, the show also decided to give a clue about when folks could catch the tournament go down on TV. Posting a photo of the entire competition schedule on Instagram, fans learned Jeopardy! Masters will crown a winner on May 22 — just one day before host Ken Jennings‘ birthday.

“Make sure to mark your calendars!” the caption read on April 22. “The #JeopardyMasters schedule is here.”
