One of the attorney’s working for Sean ‘P Diddy’ Combs has spoken out about the rapper’s infamous parties.

The “freak off” parties allegedly included illegal drugs, hidden cameras, sex workers and underage girls, with Diddy and several of his Combs Enterprise employees alleged to have taken part in them. The wild events came to light following raids on the rapper’s mansions in Beverly Hills, California, and Miami, Florida, back in March.

Now, Diddy’s attorney Teny Geragos has insisted Diddy is innocent and addressed the “freak offs”. During an appearance on NewsNation’s Cuomo, Geragos said: “A lifestyle and being present in activities doesn’t mean he committed a crime.

“Those activities and the lifestyle is not criminal. What was notable today, what my partner Mark [Agnifilo] said in court, is they never once said that these women didn’t consent to what happened, not once.”

She then addressed the charges against Diddy, saying: “The difference here between R Kelly, between Epstein, no charges relating to minors.” Diddy has been charged with racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud, or coercion, and transportation to engage in prostitution.

He pleaded not guilty during his arraignment on Tuesday, but was denied bail. He had a second bail application denied by a judge in a Manhattan courtroom on Wednesday.

Diddy’s lawyers had offered a $50million bail and said he was not a flight risk. Prosecutors believe that there is a risk of witness intimidation.

Diddy’s lawyer Marc Agnifilo said at the bail hearing that only pre-approved visitors could see the rapper. He said the list could be given to the judge to ensure that there is no witness coercion.

“Mr Combs will not have a cell phone or access to the internet. That way, no witness intimidation, completely nullified,” Agnifilo said. District Court Judge Andrew Carter refused the bail request.

Assistant US attorney Emily Johnson said in court: “Mr Combs physically and sexually abused victims for decades. He used the vast resources of his company to facilitate his abuse and cover up his crimes. Simply put, he is a serial abuser and a serial constructor.”

P Diddy was arrested at the Park Hyatt hotel in Manhattan, New York, on Monday evening. He is currently being detained at the Metropolitan Detention Center (MDC) in Brooklyn.
