Conor McGregor delivers one of the most off-the-rails live streams ever as UFC fans declare ‘he’s never fighting again’
The Notorious last fought in the Octagon in 2021 against Dustin Poirier and it remains unclear when he will return.
Conor McGregor delivered quite an eventful performance in a live stream and has caught the attentions of UFC fans as it could be one of his most off the rails showing yet.
The 36-year-old is one of the most recognisable faces associated with the UFC thanks to his success in MMA and his loud personality.
But the Irishman has not fought in the UFC since 2021 when he lost the second of his bouts against Dustin Poirier.
McGregor had been due to fight Michael Chandler earlier this year at UFC 303, but this was cancelled in mid-June after the Notorious suffered a broken toe.
McGregor has 28 professional MMA bouts under his belt, with 22 wins, 19 of which by knockout, one through submission and two by decision.
He has been on the end of six losses, four of which by submission and two were by knockout.
Three of McGregor’s last four fights in the UFC have ended in defeat for him, including successive losses against Poirier and once against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
McGregor does have a career away from the Octagon which span alcohol in the form of his Forged Irish Stout and Black Forge Inn in his hometown of Dublin.

McGregor has also launched a career in Hollywood after appearing alongside Jake Gyllenhaal in 2022 in a remake of the 1989 movie Road House, which originally starred the late Patrick Swayze.
The Irishman is well known for his exuberant personality, and this was on show in spades in a recent live stream, where former two-time UFC champion McGregor enjoyed a can or two – or perhaps even more – of his own stout brand, puffing on cigars and taking boxing stances.
He appeared in a stream sponsored by crypto casino Duelbits and a compilation posted online has shown McGregor at his extravagant best.
Conor McGregor is absolutely wilding on his gambling live stream right now 🤣
It shows the fighter taking part in online casino games and he gives a number of quips in his own unique style.
Among the extracts, he said: “Stand your base, the space is your space!
“There’s no-one doing it like me, nobody!
“I make more dough than a bakery!
“I might put down 12 cans in this stream.”
And some fans on social media believe this could be evidence that McGregor’s days in the UFC are now over.
One said: “He’s never fighting again.”
Another wrote: “He’s never coming back. Chandler waited for nothing.”
And one fan added: “He’s no longer a fighter.”
